Forgot Leeds on that list. 14 conceded in 6 games now. No win, no clean sheet and teams seem to have figured them out.

Definitely looks like teams have worked out how to effectively counter them. They look like they’ll struggle and I think that high energy game that they play must leave them feeling so much more tired when they put in all that effort but lose. Psychologically that’s got to be tough.

Absolutely, those wanting repeated games between the self apponted top 6 should be ashamed. The drama and excitement of this game was superb.

Agreed. Remember the 3 all Palace Liverpool game a few years ago that pretty much decided the title as well? It's those games that are the best thing about the Prem these days, which you would lose if the numbers were cut. Suarez crying on the pitch at the end. Golden memories.

Norwich are one of those weird 'Too good for the Champ' and 'not good enough for the PL' sides. Just a yo-yo. But this is the first time I've looked at them and thought they're no where near, they don't even look competitive. They're just not good enough in any position. They're still relying on Pukki to get them their goals and I don't think he's got it at this level to be honest.

What didn't help them this summer this time is that they sold their best player.

A damaging season points wise and defeat wise, as it can spiral once you're in that zone, could set them back a long time.

Another loss for the night Portsmouth. Shame.

Seems time is probably running out for our Nige at Charlton which is a shame. Really thought he’d do well this season, especially with the decent form they showed towards the end of the last campaign.

They lost to a Burton team which hadn't won any of its previous 7 matches but Pompey hadn't won any of their previous 7 either. Their fans  are starting to talk about relegation.

How have you worked that out? Why would they have picked us over Everton?

I'm not sure if they would have chosen us over Everton to be fair.

Not sure that either of them would have joined us over Everton.

good to see Coventry battling back at the top of the Championship. Hopefully they can keep it going.

Definitely, back playing in their own city and doing really well, I remember watching them in league two in 2018. Coventry and Luton to get promoted and we can recreate the old first division of the late 80s.

That would have required them to choose us over Everton. Not a given.

Gray was available at Leicester for 1.2m long before Everton were in for him .. we had a look but Ralph stuck with redmond and Walcott... then he went to Germany on loan at leverkusen .. sat on the bench there on loan and again we were linked for 1.2m but nope old jazz hands again stuck with the above ..as for Townsend we’ve been linked with him a few times also way before Everton looked at him ..both class players who we could have signed before Everton looked .. and on the cheap … but Ralph Is grossly inept we missed out .. and we are stuck with the above plus mouse and Ely who are also bang average!

To be fair, we would have had to move the above mentioned players on before we could have made any attempt to get either of them. We had a hard enough time shifting the last lot of shite. Wage demands may also have been an issue.

And if we had signed them most in here would have had a field day condemning the club.

If Townsend or Gray had been our players for a few years they'd be absolutely hated as inconsistent wasters by the exact same people demanding we should have signed them in August.

To be honest if Gray or Townsend had joined us then Ralph would probably have coached the life out of them.

Benitez is the better manager (no shame in that) who is playing to his teams strengths with what he has at disposal so Gray/Townsend are looking decent.

Brentford proving that small clubs can compete at the top table. Well done them.

I look at the way they set up and they look really well suited to this league, they'll stay up comfortably I think.
