He’s so good, agreed. Reads the game so well

Class player and exactly what we are lacking but as we won’t be able to sell him for a huge profit in two years time we won’t be in for him.

That tackle was Gobern-esque.

Agreed, I just think that is hilarious that a team of Evertons stature has to rely on such a crap striker to try to get them out of the shyte.

Very little to be proud of. Getting to 40 points and looking so incompetent that we still watch the teams below us. I have very little to be proud about as a Saints fan this term. Our wins over whu and spuds have been tarnished by countless weekends of trash. Ralph needs to have a long look in the mirror.

Everton will beat Palace and lose to Arsenal

Burnley might get another point, but I cannot see it.

Leeds will not get another point.

so I think it will all depend if Burnley can get a point out of their last 2 games to overturn Leeds. Cannot see Everton slipping up on Thursday, unless they get too stuck in again and lose men.

It was a cracking Woman’s FA Cup final. There is not much more to say, as I would be pretty much talking to myself. First things first let’s try and get interest in Saints and England and then try and get interest in the top flight teams. 👍

Getting force fed that shit won't make us mention it.

As opposed to being force fed your opinions? Anyway, how do you know it's shit if you're not interested in it? Plus it engages you enough to comment.

Must dash.. I'm off to a motoring forum to tell them I'm not at all interested in Formula 1.

Indeed,lucky for us they weren't.

Where about is the crossover between being where you are on merit and being lucky that other teams are worse than you? Are Man City lucky there are 19 teams worse than them this year?

They’re very thread bare now tho.. I can see palace soaking it up and punishing them on the break with pace .. sadly tho can’t see leeds beating Brentford .. think Burnley get two draws and stay up !

Another week goes by, another week where you're left wondering why Everton signed Alli, El Ghazi and van de Beek in January. Unfortunately, Leeds will have to beat Brentford due to GD next week and that doesn't look likely, however, another poor transfer window for Everton and they could drop. Can see Pickford, Richarlison and despite reverting back to type Calvert-Lewin pushing for moves this summer, and as we know, Everton aren't very good at spending money.

BIB: Maybe they anticipated needing cover for all the red cards they are accruing at the moment.🤣

Poor….

The equivalent is posting about your kids go kart  on a formula 1 forum. They’ll be about as interested as most blokes are on chicks football.

Turns out those shit teams at the bottom aren't quite the relentless winning machines some thought they were.

Indeed. Very similar to the amazing final run-in that Fulham didn't have last year, if I recall correctly.

I would probably compare the women's game to Formula E at the moment, early days for both sports and there will be similar levels of discussion (and relative lack of speed...). The difference however is F1 fans who aren't interested in Formula E tend not to feel a desperate need to announce it.

Exactly but sadly it’s gone over Sue’s angry little mind

One can always rely on the self-appointed Saintsweb intelligentsia's annual Spring announcement that we're not safe due to the impending Champions League qualifying form of those teams below us 😂

It was a really enjoyable game. I was just about to shout at the screen when Kerr didn't pass it, for it to deflect and go in. Cuthbert's goal was a belter, and interesting to watch two top teams with different playing styles. City looked a lot more fluid than they were earlier in the season, when they could still call on internationals, but had lots of injuries.

More trying to promote it, as there is a lack of that from the club. I could not care a shit if you or anyone else watch it at all. There was a game on, a cup final so mentioned it.

it is quite nice to watch a Saints team progressing and winning games, but as I point out all the time, it’s not for all and I get that, but a lot of the time especially with Saints, supporters might not even know that things are happening like the playoff final, because it is so badly advertised by the club.

The woman’s game is progressing well, on and off the pitch.

Now interesting games tonight as Arsenal look to rescue themselves and finish above Spurs and Luton and Huddersfield battle it out for a place at Wembley

I’m going for Arsenal and Luton. So get your money on Newcastle and Huddersfield. 😉

Keep mentioning it. It's football and related to the club.

I don't get the point made a few posts above about being force fed it. I find motor racing incredible tedious so I don't watch it or read about it even though it's all over tv and the radio.

Anyone can do the same with women's football if they wish, which is a lot easier because it isn't all over the media.

Going back to tonight's games I want Arsenal and Luton to win.

There’s a thread for chick football.

People don’t want to come on a thread “other games” and read about it. I wouldn’t post about The Dog & Duck playing the Red lion on it.

I guess we’re going to need an “other games male”, “other games female” thread, and probably an “other games other” thread. Far better to stick to the chick thread.

Weird. Arsenal looking like total bottlers against the Toon. Losing every 50/50 and half of them don't seem to want the ball. Even their facial expressions look like they're scared to be there.

Yet still they're level at 0-0.

Yeah they will probably nick it and end above Spurs, not that I give a toss either way. But they are not looking like the team of a few weeks back. Strange inconstant season outside the top 2.

Thats what happens when you spend some money to strengthen your team. We can only dream of that. Gap will only get bigger unless we have a reset in the summer window

Newcastle are comfortably better than pretty much everyone below the Spurs/Arsenal battle. Their points per game since mid January would put them somewhere around Chelsea in the overall table.

To be fair they should be winning games on fitness alone at the moment. Most of them hardly broke a sweat for the first 5 months of the season

Newcastle United are looking to tempt Roma boss Jose Mourinho to St James' Park this summer despite the recent success of current Magpies manager Eddie Howe (Marca via Express)

Above is from BBC football gossip today. If there is any truth in it then it’s staggering they’d sack Howe after he has turned them around this season 😮

Fair play to Howe. I thought he’d flop but he’s completely rejuvenated Newcastle and I don’t think it’s solely down to splashing a bit of cash.

When you look at his career so far, his credentials as a top boss are there for all to see. Various promotions and awards, including the LMA award in 2015. A shrewd appointment.

Great news for us if true. Puts him in the market for us to take.

it’s not true though. The fans love him, he’s changed the clubs playing style completely, they’re not gonna go back to a park the bus style under Jose.
