M271 Posted 13 May, 2022 Posted 13 May, 2022 Saints Legends won tonight 7 - 5 against Cockney Rebels Vets at Chris Nicholl Charity match at AFC Totton.
The Cat Posted 13 May, 2022 Posted 13 May, 2022 Luton 1-1 Huddersfield. Would love Luton to come up. Would need a lot of aways to guarantee a ticket for that one.
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 13 May, 2022 Posted 13 May, 2022 I was watching Arbroath fail to get a goal past, at times, 8 man Inverness Cale Thistle. Thistle had a sending off, made 4 subs, lost a player through injury and had another sending off. They got a man back, when allowed to make another sub in extra time, but briefly lost a player due to a head injury. Cale won on pens. A poor quality game, but only one missed penalty.
Chez Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 Forrest should be home free in this game and tie. Johnson really is a talent.

Even if they don’t go up I think he may be out our reach. Not financially due to the contract, but I imagine somebody more attractive coming in for sure. 1
RedArmy Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 The bin dippers are so thick they’re booing Abide with me, proper weird cunts that lot.
whelk Posted 14 May, 2022 Author Posted 14 May, 2022 This is a tough final for me. Both clubs are horrible 2

Forrest are gonna get promoted.

Fulham and Bournemouth coming up have both spent more than we have on a player. I do agree though, however I feel like he may end up at the Leicester/West Ham level rather than us.

Chez Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 I'n gojng Chelsea. They feel like the underdog for some reason...mostly cos Liverpool are running rings round them. I fucking hate Liverpool.

The Cat Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 I wonder if Jenas will mention the reason Alonso is always in space in the attacking third is because his mate Alexander Arnold has hopeless defensive positioning?
Chez Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 Milner is the `new' Gareth Barry. At least five fouls before the ref thinks about a yellow.

Chez Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 the quality of individual players is on a completely different level to what we have. Like from a different division.
whelk Posted 14 May, 2022 Author Posted 14 May, 2022 We used to be club that supplied likes of Diaz to them. Looks a decent acquisition 1
Suhari Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 Only watched the last 20 minutes. Bin dippers on top. But aren't the commentators meant to be impartial? It's like they want Liverpool (the bestestest team ever, with the bestestest, hard done by fans) to win.
whelk Posted 14 May, 2022 Author Posted 14 May, 2022 It is why Pep says everyone wants Liverpool to win. They absolutely fucking don’t but media do for some reason. 1
Chez Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 Less of a love in with Chelsea fan Matterface describing events.
adrian lord Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 Hopefully Chelsea will regroup having survived the Dipper onslaught that last 20 mins, and go on to score in ET. ….but it’s got pens written all over it
whelk Posted 14 May, 2022 Author Posted 14 May, 2022 Still talking of quadruple. They have fck all chance of winning the league

AlexLaw76 Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 magical moment at Wembley. Not only have Liverpool won the FA Cup, but Football has won the FA Cup. Just marvellous 1
Suhari Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 I feel sick. Bunch of bin-dipping, car stereo stealing twats. Fuck off.
Chez Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 what a shame the skate missed the vital pen. Real shame. 2
Scummer Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 Is Allison allowed to catch that ball that's spinning back towards the goal after Mounts penalty?

HarvSFC Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 At least it was Mount that missed. Liverpool can have the FA Cup at the cost of Salah and Van Dijk.

Scummer Posted 14 May, 2022 Posted 14 May, 2022 Don't know, just feels odd. The striker isn't allowed a second touch. The difference to the clip you posted is the goalkeeper hadn't touched the ball in that example.

The penalty isn't over until the ball is dead, so a keeper can have multiple touches if that is what it takes to stop the ball going in. Otherwise a situation could see a keeper unable to do anything as he watches a back spinning ball go over the line.
