They defended well most of the game and dug in there when it was needed. We have done this many times over the years ourselves. For all the laughing at Everton, would not surprise me if they finished above us Edited 8 May, 2022 by AlexLaw76

adrian lord Posted 8 May, 2022 Posted 8 May, 2022 The design of the Emirates is ageing well, it has a certain classic elegance that other, newer stadia don’t.

It is very poorly designed in key aspects like the sloping of the seating area being far too shallow given that people are actually standing, so the sightlines are poor.

woodsaint1 Posted 8 May, 2022 Posted 8 May, 2022 That point at Leeds a few games ago looking so crucial. Had we lost that they would in touching distance of us 3
Lighthouse Posted 8 May, 2022 Posted 8 May, 2022 We’ve closed the gap to Man United and Newcastle, a great weekend for us all things considered. 1 2

Lots of good quality players going forward, but their suicidal approach to defence is a relegation waiting to happen if their attacking production falters. Second best to every ball against Liverpool. As they were against Man United. Not ideal when you essentially defend one vs one. Could be dark horses for the drop. I warned you, Leeds. Should've listened. 1

East Kent Saint Posted 9 May, 2022 Posted 9 May, 2022 Pep going down the Millwall route , apart from the ‘we don’t care’ bit 😁
jawillwill Posted 10 May, 2022 Posted 10 May, 2022 Can guarantee Gerrard's Villa will put up absolutely no fight against Liverpool this evening thereby disrupting the integrity of the league. Obviously nobody in power will bat an eyelid though. 1

Pilchards Posted 10 May, 2022 Posted 10 May, 2022 Ha ha those Villa players that used to play for Liverpool are doing everything they can to fluff the goal scoring chances they get.
Dorchester Saint Posted 10 May, 2022 Posted 10 May, 2022 The City fans will be celebrating already, safe in the knowledge that Liverpool have to go to fortress St Mary’s next…….oh.
