Apart from Trent Alexander-Arnold what’s English about them - American owned German managed and players from all corners of the globe……

Me.

I find the cherries fans to be a bit cringe but overall they’re harmless. It’s a south coast derby, it’s not the proper one but it still means a little bit more than other games.

Plus I went to uni in Bournemouth and had a great laugh there, went to a few games at Dean court at the time when they were utterly dreadful but it was a good crack.

And I don’t like forest, never have. Much like Derby I think a good proportion of their fans seem like cunts.

Fair enough. I live in the East Midlands and work with Forest and Derby fans so I want them both to do well.

They're getting battered by Bournemouth tonight, mind, even though its 0-0.

I’ve only been watching bits and pieces but it seems like Bournemouth have got on it after a bright Forest start.

Admittedly Forest going up is much less boring than the yo yo effect we have lately. Plus, class of PL 1992, Cloughie and all that. The Roy Collymore partnership was also decent. Frank Clark aka Forest Grump, less so.

The Greatest Team Ever(tm) are in trouble in Spain

"trent" very poor defending again.  But lets not talk about that.

Bournemouth and Fulham won’t be push overs next season. Neither will forest should they come up via the play offs.

It's also a pity our role as catchment area for all South west people wanting to watch premier league football will shrink

Depends on how much they’re willing to spend and who they buy. Spunking money left right and Center Didn’t work for Parker last time so You’d think he learn a bit.

I like Parker, but think championship is his level. Seems very 1 dimensional

Eh? You can only get about 300 in their shitty little ground

I’d take Bompey winning if Liverpool lost tonight. Then City win the league (after Saints miraculously beat them) and Chelsea win the cup.

Anything west of Dorset is now dead. That diagonal line from Liverpool to Southampton is on its knees. What a tragedy. Who would’ve known it was an idiotic idea to begin with?

They should make it mandatory that if in PL you give away fans 3000 tickets whatever the size of your pissy little ground. Tough if that only leaves you 9000 home tickets

Posted (edited)

I only saw the second half so I just saw Forest barely lay a glove on Bournemouth.

Massively tedious IMO to see the same old clubs come back up.

They should make it mandatory that the capacity of a stadium in the EPL should be at least 25000……..

100% agree. We usually get 1300 last time , sold out to season ticket holders with 12 aways terrible,  yet they bring 30% of their home crowd to St Mary's

Completely agree. So galling to see clubs giving us so few tickets, and then we still have to give them half the Northam End

Funny because when they got relegated lots of Bmuff fans were saying how glad they were to be out of the Prem away from VAR and all the prima donna players and win at all costs stuff.
