Remember that you support a club that once complained to the league because a referee slighted poor Adam Lallana by suggesting he'd "changed".

Embarrassing indeed.

I still don't understand how that we managed to reach the point that the club made an actual complaint over Lallana's hurt feelings. If Clattenburg had done something genuinely unprofessional in that incident it surely would have come to light.

Leeds have appointed their new boss, nice and quick. By the time they play us they should have got their new-manager-bounce out of their system and should be back to regression-to-the-mean shiteness again.

I've watched quite a bit of Leeds recently. This new guy isn't going to turn that bunch into the into anything special, they just won't be shipping 3/4 each week.

They'll survive, but only because of Brentfords generosity.

Everton get an apology, more than we ever get and the ref for their next game was operating the VAR. So look out for a dodgy compensation decision.

That is beyond stupidity. Mike Riley has hung his colleagues up to dry. That was not the clearest penalty that you might ever see no matter what old mother Riley thinks about it.

Did he actually touch the ball?

If so where was the point of contact, above or below the bottom of the sleeve?

Answers on a postcard please. Entries are limited to no more than 1200 words.

The bottom of the armpit is the ruling, not the bottom of the sleeve.  I don't know where the sleeve thing came from.  Pretty sure it's a red herring.

Fucking Bookies have 9 Man City players at 4/1 or less to score the first goal.

ridiculous even though they will clearly batter Peterborough

I guess we can add Peterborough to the list of teams that use OWTS. But instead they chant 'oh when the posh go steaming in'. Very strange 😂

Noticed Derby County are still playing tonight, despite the possible buyers missing the deadline with the administrators. Anyone been keeping up to date with them who can explain what’s been going on?

How long have you got?

It's hard watching Middlesborough trying to break down plucky Tottenham who have two solid banks of four sitting deep to nullify their Championship opposition. I can see Tottenham nicking one and causing an upset here.

Arsenal's Balogun, who we were heavily linked with before he signed a new contract, has come on for Boro in the second half and wasted by far their best chance of the game, skying a shot under no pressure from about 12 yards out.

Burnley didn't turn up tonight, they were so, so bad. Maybe that's their level.

Leicester just had that extra bit of quality to play with, but they weren't amazing themselves.

Everton/Newcastle/Leeds breathing a sigh of relief, but I can't see any of them going down.

Fry has shown against both Man United and Spurs just how good he is. I've wanted us to sign Dael Fry for years, ever since I first saw him play against our Academy. The combination of Salisu and Fry would be our best since Fonte and van Dijk.

Spurs out. Lovely. One less Prem side to stop us winning the FA cup this year. Boro looked decent mind you.

Thought that was going to be a ‘what if’ game for Middlesbrough. Fantastic result for them, goals like that are what every kid that wants to be a footballer dreams of growing up.

Man Citys record of getting easy lower league teams in the draw has become a bizarre pattern.

FA will be hoping for a Man City v Liverpool 'showpiece ' final.

Looking like a last 8 of;

Man City

Crystal Palace

Middlesbrough

Liverpool

Chelsea

Everton

Saints / West Ham

Forest / Huddersfield

When is the draw due to take place?
