whelk Posted 6 August, 2021 Posted 6 August, 2021 Decent West Brom support. Great to have away fans back. Decent game too.
Jimmy_D Posted 6 August, 2021 Posted 6 August, 2021 Watching football with away fans in and hearing a rousing rendition of "The referee's a ****er" ring out around the stands is the most normal things have felt in quite a while. 1
JRM Posted 6 August, 2021 Posted 6 August, 2021 Decent game at Bournemouth, full round of Championship, league one, two and Scottish league tomorrow, back to wasting money on accumulators. Fleetwood to beat the Skates?
Teddeer Posted 6 August, 2021 Posted 6 August, 2021 Parker still trying to play out from the back with players who are not good enough to do it. You'd have thought he'd have learned his lesson at Fulham.

Why do we go one about 55 year of hurt when we won the Tournoi? 2

Verbal Posted 8 August, 2021 Posted 8 August, 2021 Harry Wilson off to a good start at Fulham, scoring on his debut (though I'm waiting for the inevitable late Boro equaliser). He seems a decent signing.

nta786 Posted 13 August, 2021 Posted 13 August, 2021 Arsenal’s line up must be one of the worst I’ve seen for a club of that stature. Who knows, they may surprise but be great if they faltered.
verlaine1979 Posted 13 August, 2021 Posted 13 August, 2021 Three out of four pundits on NBC predicting us to go down with Norwich and Watford.
LiberalCommunist Posted 13 August, 2021 Posted 13 August, 2021 I reckon Brenford will win this. Might even be comfortable.
saint lard Posted 13 August, 2021 Posted 13 August, 2021 Ok…so I want Brentford to lose,so it enhances our chances of staying up. But….I want Thomas Frank to be our manager. bugger.

Ok I’ll bite… A) I rate Thomas Frank as a manager, better than Hasenhüttle B) because Brentford will be in our region of the table come the end of the season in my opinion. the reason being for that is,not because Frank is a poorer manager than Hasenhüttle ,but because of lack of players experience and calibre in the Premier league. give Frank the tools and I believe he would be a shrewd acquisition for us in the future. actually…right now if it were possible. off you go with your usual mundane pedantic rhetoric. The Kraken Posted 13 August, 2021 Posted 13 August, 2021 Just £50m gets you a Ben White these days. The new Bobby Moore at RB looks very shaky. Arsenal are getting totally bossed here.

The Cat Posted 13 August, 2021 Posted 13 August, 2021 Brentford have some good players. I wonder if their forum had posters moaning they were all hipster signings because they hadn't heard of half of them? They've even got a chap from Dulwich Hamlet whose fans I imagine ride to the ground on penny farthings after having their handlebar moustaches styled at an achingly cool East London barbers. This is possibly the weakest line up I can ever remember from Arsenal though.
whelk Posted 13 August, 2021 Author Posted 13 August, 2021 FFS the applauding of Saka and Carragher and Tyler fawning. Such phoney sentimentalism. Seems a good lad but is this going to be a thing now?

Agree it is a positive thing obviously but this is where we are now and it is fucking stupid. Report one thing then report the counter action and everyone feels good.
