Which country has provided Saints with best & worst players? (Not British or Irish) e.g Latvia does Bleidelis negate Pahars?

Best

Trinidad? - Kenwyne Jones & Stern John

Yugoslavia/ Croatia? - Ivan Golac

Worst

Argentina? - Guildo Carrillo, Pablo Daniel Osvaldo (born & bred identifies as) Federico Arias

Ecuador? - Agustin Delgado & Kleber Chala

Gabon has to win worst nation?

Argentina for me. Two absolute nightmares, in Osvaldo and Carrillo. Gazza was pretty crap and Sarmiento did naff all.

Also Federico Arias, the ‘torpedo’. Didn’t even make an appearance.

Russia Alexis Cherednik and Sergi Gotsmanov

VAR check on the former. wiki lists him variously as Tajik, Ukrainian and Soviet Union and he was here across the period when the USSR collapsed.

although born in Sheffield, he represented Barbados - Jonno  Quick

Can’t help but think what might have been if everyone had believed in him as much as some of us

Steve De Ridder and Alderweireld.

We've had 15 French players, 10 Dutch, 7 Norwegian, 7 Polish & 6 Portuguese but only 3 from Belgium. This link lists them all:

Southampton FC - Foreign players in the club | Transfermarkt

There should be more from Spain. Such a shame that we let Sabino Barinaga go. The club's history could have been so different, as with his goals, especially at the end of the 1948/49 season, we'd have been promoted to the top flight in the 1940s.

Sweden? Killer, Anders and Ostlund?

Edit: Jakobsson too, we have had a few Swedes.

Nilsson brings them down a bit too but Anders’ missus probably makes up for that.

Who needs fullbacks when we have Claus Killer and Niemi?

I would kill for a fully fit Niemi.
