Say what you like about someone like Jose who seems a bit past it but when he was interviewed in the radio it was clear that he would have dropped some of these players for sure. 1

The point still stands, that teams going to scare everyone but we will just play not to lose again and probably win 2-1 tonight and have learnt nothing.

Games like this should be used to rest those needing one, and give the fringe players a game, with the message that there's a shirt to play for.

What's going to be learnt by playing Sterling that we don't already know? If Bellingham started then maybe he will be excellent and force his way into the team. Even if sterling plays well he's going to play in the next game regardless so why bother?
