The Cat Posted 16 May, 2021 Posted 16 May, 2021 I did wonder when the next game was, seems ages since they beat Yeovil. Birmingham are a top league team albeit one in turmoil. Their manager just resigned but will still be in charge today. Good chance to watch a women's double header today with the Champs League final on too.

The Cat Posted 16 May, 2021 Posted 16 May, 2021 3-0 down. Birmingham are a class above but then that's to be expected as they are leagues above and play every week whereas Saints have only had FA Cup games since lockdown eased.
John Boy Saint Posted 16 May, 2021 Posted 16 May, 2021 Last 10 minutes were entertaining - as has been said our ladies have only played in the cup and Birmingham are WSL playing every week and it showed. Fair play, getting one back put a bit of Petrol in the ladies tank. At 3 nil Birmingham subbed their keeper, almost a tad disrespectful nearly backfired as she was certainly a bit flappy. Brum certainly were rocking when we got it to 3-2. Lets hope they get a fair crack next season because they are miles better than the league they are in. 1
rooney Posted 16 May, 2021 Posted 16 May, 2021 The girls did well.Agree there was a difference in class but Saints were enthusiastic and played their best. Equivalent to 1st Team v Exeter City in league differences so they can be proud of their fight back and performance.Marianne got the Tactics right. 1
Saint_clark Posted 17 May, 2021 Posted 17 May, 2021 Big fan of Caitlin Morris, in more ways than one.
Mattio Posted 17 May, 2021 Posted 17 May, 2021 Out of interest, do the women also play with the first team tactics like the other squads?
