OttawaSaint Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Oh fuck! Ralph's made the Nathan for Nathan switch...
Lord Duckhunter Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Just now, stknowle said: Fuck me this is playing out like so many games this season. Completely 2nd best in the 2nd half after being the better side in the 1st. Would happily take a point. Don’t worry, Redmond is on.
SKD Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Just now, Saint_clark said: No I wouldn't. But you know what, sure, it should have been a penalty and I'm sure we can all agree that's yet more evidence that Forster should be number 1 instead of this ridiculous rotation policy. Agree. Penalty or not, bamford should have chipped him and put it in anyway. Awful goal keeping.
Saint_clark Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 McCarthy you useless cunt. Stop fucking rotating.
OttawaSaint Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Why do co-comms always refer to a player when they cheat? Fuck 0-1
Saints foreva Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Poor from the defenders and piss poor goalkeeping.
OttawaSaint Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Uggghhh. Weak from McCarthy, come on draw a bunch of lines and shit VAR!
Saint_clark Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Every other game would show the lines being drawn, except when it's a goal against us. Not for the first time too. 1
OttawaSaint Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 1-0 down and we've taken off our most dangerous player and put on scuffmond!
SKD Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Calling @egg@chapleend to the thread. Remember what I said about the keeper rotation 3 games ago.....
trousers Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Why aren't we seeing the VAR lines etc for that? Was extremely close, surely? They usually take minutes analysing that kinda thing 1
Sheaf Saint Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Fucksake McCarthy. How the hy fuck did you manage to let that in? And how come we didn't get the lines drawn by VAR? Looked very tight to me. Wasn't even checked FFS.

HarvSFC Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 His shoulder definitely looked beyond the final defender and we’ve been seeing those ruled out all season, rightly or wrongly.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 McCarthy bottled that. Horrendous. He’s got to get to that. Soft as shite, right through the side.
washsaint Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 OMG - rotation of keepers? McCarthy is shockingly bad - how on earth did he let that in. Embarrassing in the extreme 1
benjii Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Yeah, crap defending and shit from McCarthy but that looked like one where the shoulder would be a cm offside. So where were the lines?! 1
JustinSFC Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Just now, trousers said: Why aren't we seeing the VAR lines etc for that? Was extremely close, surely? They usually take minutes analysing that kinda thing I swear to god they've cut back on showing it. There's been a few games in other matches where they haven't, when a month ago they would have. Draw lines there tonight, Bamford would have been off.
Saint86 Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 (edited) Where were the lines? That was clearly offside by today's standards. Also this ref has had a mare with respect to letting leeds' challenges go, not giving corners etc. Edited 18 May, 2021 by Saint86

They usually take minutes analysing that kinda thing Yeah odd. I’m sure we were seeing them at the start of the season. Taking a common sense approach now fans are back (I.e trying to limit the delay in restart?) I hope so, but odd to change mid way through the season.
OttawaSaint Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 They have moved away from the drawing of the lines. Typically we got royally shafted by it earlier when it was all the rage. Same with the handball rule, they fucking changed it mid-match to fuck us over! MLG notes: tongue in cheek... 1

CB Fry Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Bring on Diallo to shore things up a bit so we can sit on our 1-0.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 It really doesn’t matter if they don’t show the lines on tv, the issue is whether the VAR used them.
OttawaSaint Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Ralph can see the biggest issue laid bare that he needs to fix. We have to get goals when we are so utterly on top and limit/eliminate these type of results.
Sweet dee Posted 18 May, 2021 Posted 18 May, 2021 Was enjoying the game up until then, getting caught flat footed from a straight ball is never a good look, but got fault the goalkeeper there

Regardless of it being shown on screen or not, they've either reduced the time it usually takes them to work it out by about 400% or they didn't forensically review it
