Is there evidence of this (that they are fasting)? Or have you assumed due to their names? Edited 8 May, 2021 by nta786

Oh okay thanks for confirming I know some players have claimed dispensation under religious grounds. Salah and Mane are Muslims too- I don’t know if they are fasting tonight though? If so, let’s see how their performance will be hindered.
Manuel Posted 8 May, 2021 Posted 8 May, 2021 Honestly can't see us getting much from this game with that line-up, will be nice to have another good look at Tella though, and Armstong at CM. 1

OttawaSaint Posted 8 May, 2021 Posted 8 May, 2021 (edited) Hearing about Liverpool’s feeble home record makes me worry we’ll be just the tonic they need. Come on Saints, get stuck in, do us proud! Edited 8 May, 2021 by OttawaSaint

SonicBoom Posted 8 May, 2021 Posted 8 May, 2021 Tella is in and playing in front of Stephens which does worry me. Now don't go nuts , it's just an innocent question but what is it that Tella does? I've seen him several times now, and people seem to think he has what it takes. I've heard comments that he's very quick but what sort of player is he? I genuinely haven't seen him produce anything so far other than snatching at a couple of good chances. Is he a winger or going to be a central striker? I should caveat this with the fact I know he's a young player and finding his feet. Im not having a go, I'm just wondering what his strengths are?

I think at the moment his strength is playing without fear and always looking to go forward with pace but yes he is a raw talent and not without risk
OttawaSaint Posted 8 May, 2021 Posted 8 May, 2021 Playing aggressively so far. Need to be able to do this for 90+5 though...

OttawaSaint Posted 8 May, 2021 Posted 8 May, 2021 Got to be careful with these loose passes. Liverpool look ready to pounce.
Mr X Posted 8 May, 2021 Posted 8 May, 2021 Decent start so far but how many times have we seen it come to nothing
OttawaSaint Posted 8 May, 2021 Posted 8 May, 2021 Liverpool looking to go route 1 to Mane and catch us flat footed.
SKD Posted 8 May, 2021 Posted 8 May, 2021 Redmond is such a good player when he actually drives at people. I really don’t know why he doesn’t do it more. I can only assume it’s confidence.
OttawaSaint Posted 8 May, 2021 Posted 8 May, 2021 Lively stuff from Redmond and Tella but no end product.
Saint_clark Posted 8 May, 2021 Posted 8 May, 2021 Redmond actually running at people and looking infinitely better for it. 1
egg Posted 8 May, 2021 Posted 8 May, 2021 Armstrong looks very good in the middle. His running from deep gives us something we've been missing.
