BotleySaint Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Never saw that coming once we lost Vestergaard. Great passion and determination from us. 6
Nemi Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 If I was Hasenhuttl I’d be crying after that honestly.
Jonnyboy Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 I need to uninstall the BBC app. Sends me updates 30 seconds before it finishes on the Sky stream 2
Jimmy_D Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Well done Saints, fought really well for that one.
Saint_clark Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Should be a great feeling at full time there, but instead I felt nothing. 1 1
JustinSFC Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 That was a superb performance from us. Ralph got that right after the red. Stephens was excellent at LB. Salisu outstanding. The whole team. 7

obelisk Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 That's the sort of fighting spirit we want to see. 1
Whitey Grandad Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Not what we tuned in for but ver pleasing nonetheless.
stknowle Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Really well played to eke out that point but my overriding feeling from tonight is one of bitterness towards the utter shit show that this game is becoming. Shouldn't be like this. 3
Jonnyboy Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Props to Stephens, despite his flaws he stepped up. 12

Whitey Grandad Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Just now, Jonnyboy said: Props to Stephens, despite his flaws he stepped up. Yes, he played well. His heading ability was useful but there were a few stray short passes.
warsash saint Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Great defensive display. well played Ralph!

Saint_lambden Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Martin Tyler off to have a little cry that Leicester didn't find a winner. 1 2
saintwbu Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Stephens was brilliant, especially when he screamed ‘fucking liven up’ at the linesman 6 3
StrangelyBrown Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Great character from the players and well managed from hassenhutl. That could have been a shitfest and despite an atrocious performance from the officials a thoroughly deserved point. Perhaps we a better against the ball than with it??? 1
ButtikonSaint Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 5 more performance like that to end the season... Pity we dropped the 2 points but a real gritty performance... Tremendous, COYR
Baird of the land Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Nice to see us being tough to beat. Thought stephens did very well out of position and that saving header from KWP was fantastic. Minamino looked lost out there. Disgraceful refeering decision on Vestergaard. Thought he was rather poor, booking Minamino but not booking their player for the foul in the lead up to our goal. At least he gave us a penalty. 1

Mr X Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Great battling performance! more of these needed to make up for the no show in the FA cup semi
macca155 Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Well done, something to be cheerful about for once. Solid performance, take a point everyday. Salisu should be a regular now. Stephens put a shift in, Redmond turned up. Something to build on. 1
Saint_Jonny Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 (edited) Well done Saints! Well played Ralph! Superb point after being fingered by the referee so early. He went in dry but we brought lube. Better luck next time ref. Edited 30 April, 2021 by Saint_Jonny
Kingsland Codger Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 An amazing display - who would have thought we had that kind of gutsy performance given the dross we’ve had inflicted on us in so many matches. Well done lads. Although it was a bit backs-to-the -wall at times, I never got the impression it was The Alamo.
Saints foreva Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Everyone put in a proper shift when we went down to 10 men. MOTM for me was Salisu. Solid when he came on. Give him a run until the end of the season now. 2

Mr Brightside Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Fantastic result in the end. Some fight and spirit, that's more like it. But red cards for winning tackles, penalties seemingly every time it goes near an arm, VAR pointless. The game is gone. 1
Dusic Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 (edited) In many ways the best performance of rhe season given some of the questions asked about this team. Things I learned: - Salisu should start every game until the end of the season - Stephens isn't the best player but he talks a lot and we don't have many like that - Adams and Redmond put in a massive shift in the thankless task at the top of the pitch. - It only takes 3mins to raise an Ofcom complaint about Martin Tyler's comment about Che Adams... Edited 30 April, 2021 by Dusic 7

Shroppie Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Salish and Stephens really stepped up. KWP great game. Adams, JWP, Armstrong, even Redmond worked their socks off. 1
The Cat Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 Really good defensive performance. Salisu and Walker Peters were excellent. The whole team battled hard and deserved the point. From the front to back they ran themselves into the ground. 1

beatlesaint Posted 30 April, 2021 Posted 30 April, 2021 They showed a lot of guts out there tonight, well played. Walker Peters was superb…..again.

He got left after after getting bullied by Calvert Lewin so maybe just needs to toughen up a bit.
