AlexLaw76 Posted 18 April, 2021 Posted 18 April, 2021 (edited) Can't wait to tune in for more of the same. More 442, more negative football, more delusions from the manager. At least Kane will be out (so I read). Edited 18 April, 2021 by AlexLaw76

Pilchards Posted 18 April, 2021 Posted 18 April, 2021 (edited) Fuck off those that don’t want to sign new contracts and get some players on that want to play for the club. At the moment I’ve only got 4 players starting against Spurs on Weds. Oh yes that Son is going to get a hatrick. Edited 18 April, 2021 by Pilchards
S-Clarke Posted 18 April, 2021 Posted 18 April, 2021 We'll probably win and look a lot better than we did today, and that would sum it up. Battle for 12th is on.
Teddeer Posted 18 April, 2021 Posted 18 April, 2021 Like the players I couldn't give a shit about this match. Roll on the official end of the season.
waylander Posted 18 April, 2021 Posted 18 April, 2021 Are they expected to rest players ahead of the Carabao Cup Final?

Sideways Jim Posted 18 April, 2021 Posted 18 April, 2021 Forster KWP Vestergaard Salisu Bertrand Jankewitz JWP Redmond Armstrong Adams Ings Meh..... 2
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 18 April, 2021 Posted 18 April, 2021 I'd quite happily like to see Bertrand not play again this season. Sadly, through lack of other viable options, that isn't going to happen 2
Harry_SFC Posted 18 April, 2021 Posted 18 April, 2021 Forster; KWP, Vestergaard, Salisu, Bertrand; Jankewitz, JWP, Tella, Armstrong; Adams, Ings. Subs: McCarthy, Bednarek, Stephens, Ferry, Diallo, Djenepo, Minamino, Walcott, Redmond. Bednarek needs a game or two away from the starting 11 and Diallo has been very poor lately. I'd also bring Adams back in for Redmond who has reverted back to his usual self. 3
washsaint Posted 18 April, 2021 Posted 18 April, 2021 Just like the players, couldn't give a toss and no interest in the rest of the season 1
nta786 Posted 18 April, 2021 Posted 18 April, 2021 Forster KWP Salisu Vestegaard Bertrand JWP Diallo Armstrong Minamino Adams Ings Subs- Redmond, Djenepo and Walcott to try and change things for us I wouldn’t be opposed to Jankewitz starting this one to be fair, but only if he is in our plans for next season.
OttawaSaint Posted 18 April, 2021 Posted 18 April, 2021 Jesus, there’s more to come? Just about had my fill of these gutless passengers. I’ll just look at them scoring worldies and having a giggle in training... 1
StrangelyBrown Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 The right thing to do would be to leave out those who can't be arsed because they're going to leave and to give game time to those who will be here next season - even if it means us not picking up another point. I'm fully expecting more of the same though and to be honest I'm not sure I can watch those same players go through the motions again.
skintsaint Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 What will probably happen is a swashbuckling energetic attacking display and a 3 nil win....just to really fuck us off over yesterdays result.
JRM Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 Really can't see the players being up for this, they drifted through a semi final without laying a glove on Leicester, we've now got to play Super league Spurs who despite struggling recently will have too much for us.

Jeremy Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 Agree with these sentiments. Think I'll pack it in and look forward to the NZ-England cricket series coming up. This post will probably be deleted by the mods for being in the wrong place but what the hell.

Only Armstrong seemed to be trying yesterday. Play the peripheral players, as we won't be picking up any points for a while.

whelk Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 Just before the final. Odd and fair play if it was him with principled move but suspect Levy fed up with dire performance and alienating Bale and Alli
DT Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 They will have the post-Mourinho bounce now though. Gulp.

BallBoy Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 Not really on topic but I am delighted he is gone (again). He is an odious character who has to belittle and punish others in order to support his own ego. West Ham (with their odious owners) would deserve him. 3
OldNick Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 Jose is not as bad as people paint him. I like Ralph but he has alienated players as well, Jose is a serial winner, Spurs were never the correct club for him. It would be good if he has made a stand, but Levy and co dont care what he or anybody else think. 1

His return to Chelsea, his tenure at Man Utd and now his time at Spurs have all been pretty average at best. 1

Tough crowd on here if that is under the pretty average category 😄

Pogba really made it difficult and I agree he falls out with good players. To be fair though you need the players to pull with you. Sadly there are a lot of 'Me' men out there instead of team men and the new generation coming through must be a nightmare to deal with.

I think I didn't then, but now wouldn't be absolutely devastated. We'd get compensation, and I'm not convinced he is actually all that for a club with our resources (ie none).

Fan The Flames Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 The way the Mourinho tenure has played was so predictable to even an average football fan. So why stake so much cash on a busted flush, Spurs must have been stupid or desperate.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 Let’s hope Ryan Mason doesn’t give Ralph a coaching lesson like Jose did earlier in the season. One of the most inept, tactility naive defensive performances I’ve ever seen. No Kane, no Jose, a cup final Sunday, surely even we can give it a go now.
Sarisbury Saint Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 I’ve heard Jose wanted to rearrange training for Wednesday evening . 1
trousers Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 Mourinho gone? All set up nicely for a Dele Alli hattrick then...

igsey Posted 19 April, 2021 Posted 19 April, 2021 Surely there has to be some response from yesterday, drop the ones that had bad games and give others a chance to fight for their places next season. Bednarek, Diallo, Forster, Redmond, arguably Ings should be benched, Bertrand too if we can find another LB from somewhere in the academy.
