FA cup aside, 6 pretty meaningless games, but some big ones for Ralph none the less.

Im really glad we’re safe as we have 6 pretty tough looking fixtures.

I’m going for 4 points. A shock draw against Tottenham and a win at home to Leeds.

Tottenham (a)

Leicester (h)

Liverpool (a)

Fulham (h)

Leeds (h)

Palace (h)

West Ham (a)

I'm going 7 points, also a draw against Spurs, win at Fulham who will be down and out by then and a hard fought victory at Leeds.

2 points. Draws against Fulham and Leeds. I honestly can’t see the players being anywhere near up for the league, more so if by luck that we get to the FA cup final.

Tottenham (a) Defeat

Leicester (h) Defeat

Liverpool (a) Defeat

Fulham (h) Win

Leeds (h) Draw

West Ham (a) Defeat

So 4 points. Spurs, Leicester, Liverpool and West Ham are all pushing for the top 4 / uefa spot and will have too much for us. I'm not convinced we'll beat Fulham, but we'll get something from someone, so a win against Fulham and a draw against Leeds are where we have the best chance.

Do we not still have to play Palace at home?

We have 7 league games left, you missed Crystal Palace at home.

Spurs, Fulham and Leeds are all coming off a short turnaround so being honest I doubt we'll get much from them. Maybe a point from Fulham.

But Liverpool are struggling at Anfield so let's say 3 there, and 3 from Palace, so 7 total, taking us to 43

What happens in those games depends on what happens in the FA Cup.

If we get smashed in the semi final I can barely see 4 points out of that lot.

If we win then I can see:

Palace draw

Fulham win.

Maybe do Spurs.

7pts

Maybe an additional draw thrown in.

I don't really care what happens more interested in Sunday.

I still think we have a chance of  low-to mid 40's points wise, although not as confident as I was a few weeks back. It is a big let down of a season given our end to last season and the overall start to this year, but the squad size and depth quality has hit is pretty hard to be honest

Fair enough, I took from Google so blame them! I assume Palace was due to be this weekend? 🤔

Correct. It's not been rearranged yet, my guess would be mid-week before the final game of the season.

Out of that lot, can see Fulham home as a win, unlike say WBA they are struggling to score and at least one shocking mistake a game. By the time the Palace game is re-arranged, they will be between eras with Zaha still wanting a move so see that one as a win. Leeds home I reckon will be a draw. As for Leicester h and the always, they are competing for CL so heavy defeats in those.

7 points total. 43 points about par with that squad. Lot more points than 21/22 will yield.....

Tottenham (a) 0-2

Leicester (h) 0-2

Liverpool (a) 0-3

Fulham (h) 0-1

Leeds (h) 1-1

Palace (h) 1-1

West Ham (a) 1-2

Tottenham (a) - lose

Leicester (h) - lose - magnitude of which depends on semi outcome

Liverpool (a) - a Doc Mc Stuffin(s) and a smashed coach window, those lovable scallywags up to their boyish hijinks and japery.

Fulham (h)  - win

Leeds (h) - lose

Palace (h) - win (meh)

West Ham (a) - bullied by the usual men against boys physical advantage they have, especially if Antonio is playing

The Palace game is an odd one where they have a huge number of players that will be out of contract this summer, iirc something like 17 players!   So many of the first team could be thinking about other things.

Not 100% focussed like our boys then? 😉

If I'm being relatively optimistic I'd say 8 points, 2 wins and a draw from the home games and a point somewhere away, but probably a more realistic guess is 6.

Being pessimistic we surely can't get less than 4 points, can we?

Even with my tints on I'm struggling to see 6 points in there.   The sooner this season is done the better as far as I'm concerned.

we could. Fulham seems to be a home win for everyone, but we couldn't beat them last time out and they have ben better in the second half of the season than the first. Not something we can say.

4 points on the board so far

Strange things can happen at this stage of the season, on the beach teams, relegated teams, teams with eyes on bigger prizes. That's largely how we made our various great escapes. I am pleased we are doing better but, stating the bleendin' obvious,  we really need to strengthen.

Wolves' remaining fixtures look tough so they may not pick up another point, which means if we win 2 of our remaining games, we could finish as high as 12th.

Spurs A

Everton A

Man United H
