I have £240 riding on a saints win tomorrow (as the last game on my accy).  Surely we are hitting some form? Or do I hedge my bets and throw a 5er on a WBA win?

I am 100% blaming you for this!

He's doing his best to keep the ball at all costs

He'd have done better to put it in the stand and shout at those around him for offering no options.

We don't always agree with each other on this site, but I would hazard a guess that we do actually all "give a fuck", which is more than can be said for the players today. They look like they couldn't give a flying fuck about it. The fucking Keystone Cops playing at the back and "the Invisible Men" playing in midfield. I think I'm more angry with this display than the 9-0. Shocking (and I'm not normally one of the bed wetters). Embarrassing. Leicester will tear us a new one next week if we play like this.

with hindsight yes, but in reality you don't kick the ball into the stand, you just make a better pass. He fucked up. Not Ralf's fault. Others things are though.

Commentators saying At least we have one record, Only team in premier League history to have conceded nine goals twice and under the same manager

Well its not over yet but a shocking performance so far.

All the issues are in midfield, JWP and Diallo don't seem to be able to control things.

We are playing a team that has only won 4 games all season, you wouldn't think we could play this badly. Ralph is a nice man but a terrible manager and the players should be ashamed of this display.

Big Sam gets dogs abuse for his style of play, but is Ralph’s any better? They’ve played some pretty tidy stuff and will now sit back and soak up all our pointless passes across the back 4.

another chance for us. We have had opportunities. I think that's our problem. In order for us to be creating chances we have to leave ourselves open. We can't get the balance right, or dont have the quality of player to allow us to get the right balance.

I think in general some English managers always get played down purely because of their name- fancy European managers sound better and so they never get the big opportunities at the big clubs.

No English manager has won the PL since its inception (MLG Note- yes I know football did not begin in 1993)

Watch us give a third away on the break...it’s bound to happen. Big Sam knows how to protect a 2-0 lead against a side in poor form. Can’t see anything to suggest we’ll get anything from this game.

top much space around them. Full backs bomb on. Armstrong and Walcott not done enough to support them.  It's a collective issue.

Quoted because I think you're spot on.

our defending when WBA break is horrific. Players are slow, don't work hard enough and don't actually look where opponents are.

Have we ever scored from a Bertrand cross?

Absolutely hate his slow floaty balls that gets dealt with so easily - must work in training

Redmond chickened out there.

too slow and bottled using his left. Adams would have been crucified for that.

What a shit break. Far far too slow.

we are creating chances. Who do you want to take off?

WBA starting to look more like a relegation threatened defence now. Trouble is Saints as an attacking force are pretty much in the same boat.

Thrashing?

West Brom were never going to go for the kill this half. They should have though, we’re appalling at the back.

Same as the Burnley game teams will see how weak our CM is. Diallo looks out of his depth once again unfortunately. I'd give Jankowitz a start and see if he is any stronger.. his physique would suggest so.

First time I can really see Bednarek confidence is lacking ...

Let's hope that the semi is behind another poor performance 🎭

Wrong, they quite clearly didn't give a fuck in the first half and to be honest neither did I, when you have a semi final coming up and we're safe who cares.

Add absolutely no options to replace them either. No incentive to try hard.

when teams press us, we crack. Sit back and we will pass all day long.
