Not just that, but just became the most capped british player of all time beating Shilton's record. NI legend and will be very fondly remembered by Saints fans (although theres a few weirdos who never rated him)

He was absoltely fabulous in 2nd hafl of N.Ireland's game against Italy.

Whether or not he is liked on here, he is and always has been a model professional footballer. A very good role model for younger players. He might not have set the world alight like some others have, but I always felt he gave 100% on the pitch and was a very good servant for this club. Well played and congratulations to him I say.

I find it absurd that he wasn't liked by some - he's one of the best CM's we've had in our PL years.
