My mind is made up. They’re not a better team, but tactically are set up to not take a pasting better than we are.

What will your excuse for Ralph be next time it happens?

Should a manager who’s lost to the record score line twice and unwilling to change his style which will likely result in it happening again, be under pressure? Yes or no?

So this is the second thread today that SKD has derailed with pointless negative diatribe.

Enjoy the ignore list.

JWP had a very good game, Sterling was awful. We should have scored more but their keeper was excellent.

Most points thrown away from winning position as well, isn’t it?

Expand

You mean he got us to top over the course of almost half the season and had one day where everything went against us?

The only way to drop points is to get into that winning position in the first place. If we keep doing that there's clearly something going right with the tactics.

Nope, you read that in to my post. I said if England were as clinical as Man Utd they would have scored more. The  stats you quote back that up not disprove it.

Expand

LOL, okay let’s clutch at the straw to excuse our 9-0 losses that England weren’t as clinical against a team of postmen.

Depends on whether they were the only two games he was managing the team. If he was then the answer is obviously yes.  However, if we're talking about Ralph then you have to look at the bigger picture.

Depends on the manager, depends on other results. Should a manager who lost 7-2 to a side who just avoided relegation be under pressure when his team should be favourites for the league? No, because it's Klopp. Context is important. If a manager does well for a long time they earn some leeway.

How do you work that out? Surely if we keep failing to win when winning it means there is something wrong with the tactics.

Anyway.. delighted for JWP tonight. Well taken goal and a decent performance. Got a lot of talent in that England midfield though so I do fear for him missing out on a place in the squad in the summer. Play your socks off til ' the end of the season though Prowsey and you'll be in with a shout.

I suppose we'd be better off being like Sheffield United and never getting into the winning positions in the first place?

We've had a poor run, but it's getting into winning positions that gives us a chance to, well, actually win them.

Ridiculous argument. The giving away winning positions has been a problem for a long time, that suggests there is a problem with game management, team mentality and tactics when we get on front. Or we could just carry on burying our head in the sand with the pathetic losers arguement you’ve put forward that we should jut never go ahead in the first place.

Where did I say we shouldn't go ahead in the first place?

I just pointed out that having an ability to go ahead in games isn't a given in the Premier League. We've been better than most at it.

That old chestnut. I never named Redmond I merely suggested that we have other midfielders who could adapt and do a job at the time Romeu and Diallo were both injured. I think Armstrong proved my point rather well.

Armstrong, whilst naturally being a more attacking player, has played CM before.

Redmond is just a ridiculous suggestion and  would never succeed at any professional level in CM 😂😂😂😂

Today has been a disaster for you. False accusations of racism, plenty pointing out that you were wrong and refusal to accept it, then spectacularly failing to understand basic football tactics, finished up with the classic boasting about putting people on ignore. Congratulations on one the most tragic performances since saints losing 9-0 twice.

Let’s hope the supreme leader asked Prowsey to gets some tip from the San Marino gaffer on how to set up a defence.
