ooh it's a corner Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 who's going to wake up tomorrow morning and feel that little tingle of optimism that only comes after you've sacked your manager? (or he's resigned..) nah, me neither....
The Majestic Channon Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 I was on a high for 2 minutes, then saw wotte was appointed and my heart sank.
Saint_clark Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 I was on a high for 2 minutes, then saw wotte was appointed and my heart sank. Seconded.
saint.tom.clancy Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Exactly the same, especially after permanent basis. When will this C*nt lowe ever learn?
saint lard Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 My heart sank the moment that it was confirmed that Lowe was back.
PaulSaint Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 It feels like Lowe will change things if we protest, but, they will always be done to **** us off even more! Gray & Wigley - Wotte the f*ck!
Weston Super Saint Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Underwhelmed is a word I seem to be using more often where Saints are concerned
rocknrollman no2 Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Underwhelmed is a word I seem to be using more often where Saints are concerned Depressed seems a better one.
Weston Super Saint Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Depressed seems a better one. Depressed was 2 years ago. Numb is more appropriate
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 As ridiculous an appointment as the appointment of Portvliet was.. Underwhelming doesn`t even get close to how i feel about it.
Leslie Charteris Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 "A full press conference will be held on Monday at St Mary's Stadium." I hope the press ask some serious questions or some good news is announced. I hope, but...
Whitey Grandad Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 I logged on and saw that Poortvliet had gone and my heart leapt. Then I saw that Wotte had taken his place and my depression got even deeper. Wotte on earth is the point? My local B&Q has just swapped its entrance and exit doors. That'll have more effect on their sales than this will on our results.

SaintRobbie Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 who's going to wake up tomorrow morning and feel that little tingle of optimism that only comes after you've sacked your manager? (or he's resigned..) nah, me neither.... SPOT ON! LOL... havent laughed so much in the face of doom for a long time!
St Landrew Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 I always think... no, it's actually impossible to feel worse about SFC. Then they go and pull the rug out of whatever you've managed to half-construct your feeling, about this so-called football club, on. They couldn't actually do worse if they actively sat around the table and planned to do badly.
Whitey Grandad Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 oh' date=' new doors? where's that? i need some high density foam this weekend....[/quote'] Hedge End. Well need to find something to do on Saturdays from now on. They're not new doors, they've just swapped the signs for 'ENTRANCE' and 'EXIT' around. You have been warned! The carpark has been reorganised too. You can see all the stains from the squashed pedestrians.

cellone Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 This is going to be the most fantastic story of self belief and endurance leading to victory, as we find our heroe's stammina and courage to follow in his god sent vision takes the team he has created straight to the prem. The way forward. Super. This is it. The big one is comming. We're on track now boys. Back of the net. Get in. Have it. We're on to a winner here.
Bensfcno1 Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Ill be happy! Well definatley when my account is credited with £1100, from my bet i had for him to be the next champ manager to go! All ways look on the bright side of life! dododododo

Deppo Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Just to wake up tomorrow morning will be a plus for me.
S4INT Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 I think we'll fare better under Wotte (but I'm only saying this so that if I'm right I get all the credit and am lauded as a genius). :] As always I'll get behind the manager for now. COYR (One thing though... aren't we the only club in the whole world who never benefit from the "new-manager first game victory"? Otherwise, with the number of managers we've had recently we'd be challenging for top 4 in the Prem. )
Arizona Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 It will be one of those, "I got a new puppy yesterday! ... but it got hit by a car" moments. You wake up with a jolt of optimism when you remember he's gone, then sink lower than before when you remember Mark Wigley replaced him.
thorpie the sinner Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 I've woken up and...............nah, not optimistic at all!!!! Come on Murray!!!!!!
alpine_saint Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 My heart sank the moment that it was confirmed that Lowe was back. Indeed. Anyone who didnt realise how this season would play out is a complete f**king idiot.
Whitey Grandad Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 oooooh you said new doors... surely that's worthy of infraction points or something??? I just said that they had swapped them, not that they were new. It's the same with our two dutch dunces. They can swap jobs but the result's the same. Happy DIY!
Micky Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Whats changed - we are probably in a worse position now than we were 24 hours ago. All of the personalities that are charged with saving the club have be here during this fiasco - it's not a new concept that we haven't tried and failed at before. Brave new dawn - naaaah the nightmare could just be beginning....

Either way, they didnt have any high density foam :-(
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 I'm as Happy and optimistic as a clinically depressed Lemming who's lost his job and has just had his Giro stopped . :smt090 Honestly what have we done to deserve this - is God a Pompey fan ?
Gemmel Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Indeed. Anyone who didnt realise how this season would play out is a complete f**king idiot. Some lunatic from Austria predicted a mid table finish at the start of the season....****ing idiot????
The Majestic Channon Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Indeed. Anyone who didnt realise how this season would play out is a complete f**king idiot. Like your mate delldays? or did you miss that thread?
Whitey Grandad Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 Some lunatic from Austria predicted a mid table finish at the start of the season....****ing idiot???? I predicted 4th from bottom give or take a place. That's looking too optimistic now
