Jankewitz - Switzerland U21 face England U21 in U21 euro group stage today.

does anyone know how this will work? Assume they won’t be away for a month and will just play the games each international break?

Think Mali v Chad is off on Sunday as Chad disqualified,  they'll probably arrange a friendly instead.

9 minutes played and he hasn’t been sent off yet. Still 0-0.

He looks alright to be fair, wonder why he's had so few 1st team chances when he's clearly rated at this international level.

Looks a tidy player, similar to what we’ve seen in his short cameos from the bench.

However; playing in a 3 at u21 level very different to playing in a 2 against men in the premier league.

Good game for Jankewitz, looked very handy. Definitely someone I hope gets a chance going forward.

I've not seen enough of him to comment really but he looks solid, ideal if we're trying to hold onto a lead and bulk up the middle of the park.

They beat an England team with plenty of Premier League experience in it.

He will leave.  He’s behind Jack Stephens in the pecking order in central midfield.

Sadly I think you’re right. Surely even Ralph’s little arse lick crew in TWar and Always can’t defend the way he’s treated him. Appalling.

Never seen Jack Stephens deliberately get himself sent off in the first minute have you?

Unfortunately not. It’d probably improve us if he did.

Is he a Pompey fan? All of his posts seem to be anti-Saints.

Not sure what you mean by this, he got his chance and got a red and a three game suspension. He is clearly talented but he squandered a chance big time. I'm sure he will get more. Regarding Stephens, maybe Ralph didn't want to throw Jankewitz in at the deep end given what happened at united so didn't pick him for what was expected to be a very tricky game against City. Just because Stephens played one game at cm doesn't mean jankewitz is definitely behind him.

Not sure I've ever seen Jack Stephens do anything deliberately.

Prowsey starts for 3 lions tonight 👍🏼

Looks like he will be in a 2 in a 4231 as well which should benefit him, or a three man midfield with Mount and Phillips.

Good for him but please no injury

Just put it on and only half watching, then think Jesus Christ San Marino are going to score early again....!!!!! Then realise that England, at home, are in blue. Jesus wept.

I did the same thing and was looking at the midfield thinking where the hell is ward Prowse.

Their home kit is blue and white.

I had a feeling he was going to score tonight.

My complete thought was he's going to score and get injured ffs

Be interesting to see if he is given free kicks.

This is one of the things (of a growing list) that makes me seriously unsure of Ralph.

He's a very "1 strike and you're out" kind of guy.

See: Callum Slattery.

Obefemi would have been out the door aswell had his injury not been his one saving grace.

Also Sam McQueen is a weird one aswell. I thought he'd left. Wikipedia still has him as Saints player.

If Ralph doesn't want Jankewitz he should tell him. He didn't even get on the pitch V Bournemouth.
