One of the greats. Made his debut againts us when only 15.

Lucky enough to meet Mr Lorimer on a few occasions, came across as a very genuine and pleasant gentleman. 

Unfortunately for him, in my mind he is filed under dirty Leeds (and this is a Saints forum ....)

All things being equal RIP. MOT as they say.

Great player pity he wasn't English ! also they say he scored on his debut against Saints , still upset we let them score 7 on that day seared in my memory wher we totally gave up while they Ole'd it around the pitch .

He was my first footballer hero alongside Billy Bremner, before I was old enough to understand what allegiance to your home town club meant. Fastest shot in UK football at the time if I remember correctly...think he toe punted ‘em!

Hotshot Lorimer was one of my favourite players -pity he had to play for Leeds!
