And the Boris who is pushing ahead with voter ID despite the discrimination outcry from lefties. Seems to directly contradict your take, you are looking LD but not seeing.

Firstly, it hasn’t been enacted yet and secondly the whole Tory party is behind it.

Are you really so naive as to believe that Boris is consistent in his thoughts? As Cummings said, he is like a shopping trolley veering all over the place. He will do whatever the Daily Mail tells him to do.

No. Which is why I wrote that we’re a million miles away from the ID card eating libertarian. It wasn’t me that claims he won’t enact ID passports because of his libertarian beliefs. It’s Government by focus group, anything is possible. But my belief is the only thing that would stop him is the outcry due to “discrimination “. Disagree, if you want, but it’s hardly “naive”

As someone who had his tickets for England's match tomorrow  cancelled,  I wonder why there are so many people in Copenhagen at Denmark  v Belgium. What is Denmark doing that we are not?

Competent leadership for one tame saint. Can see this carrying on as this lot can be guaranteed to screw up  again and again. We have had these clowns for 11 years. I don’t understand why they haven’t been lined up against the wall.

Ah well. Now with Brexit we have "taken back control". We don't need those Europeans telling us how to do things better than us.

Oh dear, you've based it all on a feeling with no evidence whatsoever.

Bit difficult to provide evidence of something happening in the future . But if you’re capable of doing so, fair play. I can’t.

Of course you can, you can evidence how he/the government has acted in the past, other similar measures, speeches, old policies, policy trends, ideology. Loads of stuff, but you have just based yours on a feeling.

As has already been discussed, when it comes to Boris, past policies, measures & ideology mean nothing. He’s a weathervane politician. At one time he claimed he’d eat his ID card, yet only a few posts ago,  now  he’s in favour of producing ID for voting.

This pattern will continue until 2025 in some form or another. Even for those who have had the godly, perfect, faultless vaccine that of course has no evidence against it whatsoever. Nothing to see here. All actions around the world are totally normal. LOL.

August the 1st for the 3rd wave?  Convenient date and one that will coincide with not ending lockdown measures that have recently been delayed until the end of July.

I'm assuming there is no tangible evidence for the 1st of August, no credible modelling, just a random date to start the scaremongering all over again.

It’s kind of the virus to give us a date though don’t you think.

This is when the data modelling gives a predicted peak for the current increase in hospital occupancy. The full article says they expect it to be around half the height of the first wave last year. It’s not really news, just a date for something we basically knew already.

If only bookies would allow you to bet on such things. I would bet my house we will not come close to even a third of the peak occupancy. Btw haven’t read article

You can also argue that the government have been wanker than wank at debunking the vaccine myths... similar to mask wearing etc

There has been basically zero spend on an advertising info campaign on any of these things which is surely a bigger need than something as arbitrary as fucking brexit (I don't want to get involved in a brexit chat, just comparing the two)

The vaccine myths are completely, utterly, totally, unequivocally debunked. Some people however are just beyond help. Anyone wittering on about Bill Gates, 5G and ‘the great global reset’ whereby the masses stop er… going to nightclubs for a bit?? … is clearly devoid of all logic, reason and commonsense.

Yes, I agree with everything Lighthouse is saying there, as do the vast majority of the population that aren't thick as shit.

That is absolutely not even close to saying what you think was said:

the godly, perfect, faultless vaccine that of course has no evidence against it whatsoever

No one, at all, anywhere has said this.

Thanks for proving my point for me.

Anytime you can find anyone, ever saying anything remotely close to this:

the godly, perfect, faultless vaccine that of course has no evidence against it whatsoever

Please do post it up on here.

But it is nice to get an insight into how your warped mind works.

Because the general public are wet and insipid. Absolute c*nts should've been booted off at the stop.

So unions want to make long Covid a disability. Clearly many have it but would be skivers paradise to pull that one.

Yep, you said it. But being that you are admin, i'd better cut you a break and leave it there.

This is not doing a lot for your reputation as someone who is capable of reading, understanding and interpreting information.

I'm really starting to think that maybe you're not a qualified virologist.

When some one says what he said, what do you think the meaning is? Think about it now.

TBH what I meant was what I actually wrote, with the words and structured sentences and all that stuff. Any particular word giving you trouble from that post of mine you highlighted?

When you said people on this forum were saying this:

the godly, perfect, faultless vaccine that of course has no evidence against it whatsoever

who did you mean and who actually said anything remotely approaching it?

All you've done is post up a quote from Lighthouse saying anti-vax conspiracies were a load of old horseshit. Which is true.

Anyway, keep looking. Use your loaf.

He said a lot more than that. He basically said he believes the opposite, meaning that the vaccine to him is a godsend. faultless, perfect and will not fail. I assume neither of you did well in English classes. Basically, by claiming what he claimed about anti-vaxxers, he is claiming the vaccine is indeed a godsend, perfect and faultless. Here endeth the lesson.

He didn't.  He said the vaccine myths had been completely debunked.  He didn't claim anything else, subliminally or otherwise.

Do you agree that the vaccine myths have been debunked or are there any that currently ring true (and are therefore not myths)?

Don't expect an answer from him. He has never given a cogent answer to any question asked of him.

Sorry if I upset you with pure logic. Go to night school, maybe they can help you with understanding written language and meanings. If you say something is 100% wrong, that means you are also saying the opposite must be true/right. Get it now?

Even for the most nuanced issues with multiple possible outcomes there is only one wrong answer and one right answer? Hm
