Yep. Also, our squad is criminally light in some positions currently and the club needs to address that, not just Ralph. Getting shot of Ralph won't change the fact we only have 2 premier league quality centre midfielders at the club, which is crazy and was bound to catch up with us at some point this season.

Romeu, diallo, ward prowse?

Can't complain at that side. Should be good enough to win if they perform. COYR!

A very good side. Don't let us forget though, that there are quite a few returnees who may not be match fit. So let's hope the game doesn't go into extra time.

Radio Times is predicting an extra time win for Bournemouth 2-1. Let's prove them wrong!

I’ve heard some good things about Rico at left back for Bournemouth.
Perhaps someone to consider to replace Bertrand?
Anyways- I am upbeat and positive about this- going to predict 1-0 Saints though, Djenepo to score!

Have you? Complete opposite for me when I speak to Bmouth fans.

Not sure Ralph has much choice with Ings and Obafemi injured and Minamino is cup tied. The only other options are Tella, who I thought was very poor against Brighton, and N'Lundulu, who hasn't really done anything of note to deserve starting an important game.

Redmond can still have his moments, we'll just have to hope he can take one or two of them today.

While Tella had a quieter game against brighton he still set up the one bright moment of the 2nd half where Saints almost scored. Redmond on the otherhand was truly appalling and gets rewarded for it.

Is Tella injured? He's looked good recently.

Probably on the bench waiting for Djenepo’s hamstrings to go 15 minutes in.

I Tella is better coming on as a sub when the game is stretched and he can use his pace to get in behind.

I think Redmonds best position is through the middle, done alright there against Chelsea.

Lloyd Kelly is their usual left back and a player we should consider signing. Is he injured?

he was a bit flat in the last game, so maybe coming off the bench is not the worst idea.  He's pretty much our only genuine attacking option.

Hoddle reckons Redmond up front will cause problems with "pace in behind"

TBF, behind is relative to whichever end of the pitch you’re at and he didn’t specify which team he will cause problems for.

Critical thinking Sheaf, don’t let your guard down.

Yeah he is, one of the 7 they're missing. He's quality as well. I'd sign him.

Yes he is a good player and what we need. Probably need a takeover in the early summer to buy all of the players we need with two FBs (one who is 2 footed to cover Berty’s upgrade and KWP) a CB if Vesty goes, a CM if Jankewitz isnt ready, winger and strikers required.

Sad about Lewis Cook, good player on his day but yet another ACL casualty. An injury which needs far more research as it has increased a lot in recent years.

Assuming Lerma injured today as well? He’d have caused problems in gaining midfield control without Romeu available.
