They really were looking for that.

They were really trying to find the offside there.

You couldn't honestly say that didn't come off the Boscombe defender.

It was mentioned on TalkSport the other day, one of two things need to happen:

- either audio is made public so that we can hear their reasoning

- referees have to explain their decisions post game.

Saints taking them apart now.

They've taken a midfielder off for Surridge, we're now dominating the midfield, more chances coming for us - and probably them.

Eh? It was the knock off of Adams’ shoulder that was offside.

 Annoyingly close but correct decision.

I think Redmond is not on his own with below par performances but for some reason he’s the one that receives most of the flack. Be nice.

I reckon it's because people know he's capable of more. Someone like Jack Stephens is not great but also I'm not convinced he's playing below what he's capable of. Can't say the same for Redmond most of the time.

Who is this new signing  playing number 11 ?

He’s playing in his best position, through the middle.

This is a fair comment.

Maybe, just maybe, a certain french manager of ours was a visionary when he said about him playing through the middle like Henry....

VAR is a vampire sucking the joy out of football with offsides decided by sliderule. I despise VAR - anyone else? How can we, the fans, get rid of this terrible system, which is destroying the game we love?

You think that hit Che's shoulder last?

Definitely?

Yes. There’s one angle that  shows it clearly unfortunately.

I've said this before, but I really don't understand how other sports (esp Rugby) can get it so right and football gets it so wrong.

Time to make some subs Ralph! We've got 20 mins left and some kids to blood, and important players to protect.

Bournemouth already used 3.

I don't think we need to get rid of it. I think it's vital to have it to prevent the kind of glaring injustices like that erroneous offside call in our EFL cup final.

But they certainly need to address how it is being used, because it oftempn seems that the officials are looking for any excuse they can to disallow goals.

Does Redmond now keep out Ings in the starting line up?!

Handball wasn't it?

Yep I’m surprised they didn’t show more replays of it at least but oh well 3-0 up it’s not end of the world

Well Cricket in India hasn’t got it right and Rugby Eng v Wales didn’t get it right either

I think that these are exceptions which makes them stand out. In football there are arguments in virtually every match.
