Worst Run of results in recent times?

Havent looked it up yet but think this could be one of our worst run of crap results in my memory.

When Lawrie McMenemy first took over we were doing OK in the first half of the season and then had a very poor run of results including a home defeat against other relegation candidates, Birmingham, at Easter.

We also had another very dodgy spell (I think under Chris Nicholl) after an encouraging start to the season, which was only interrupted by a late penalty by Neil Ruddock in vital game v Newcastle in front of a sparse Dell crowd under lights late in the season.

Remember chanting Nicholl out every game under the east stand through that Barron spell .. Chrissy nicholl’s gormy and barmy ..(instead of red n white army) was the other choice chant if I recall ha!
