If this virus had been really deadly we probably would have needed the army to step in and help keep the country functioning. It was a provincial demonstration that would only get reported on if there was mass disorder, there was and it was reported on. Just checked the Daily Mail twitter to see how late the woke Beeb and Guardian were at reporting it. They had it as breaking news at 9.30pm.

If used at the right time it could have been as effective as quarantine hotels have been in Australia.
