Tella starting. Deserves that from what I've seen.

Interesting. Great opportunity for him to make an impact. Good luck to him.

Happy with the lineup Ralph has picked :) great news to have KWP, Diallo and Minamino back :) great to see Tella start too. Stronger bench too. COYR :)

I hope these players aren’t being rushed back in but Ralph and the team knows best- so if they can play 90 minutes then I am all for it :)

Come on Saints please give us a nice comprehensive win

I guess we are managing Djenepo with his injury history. I think he’s a stronger option than Tella. We miss Walcott for sure.

Che Adams is in poor form but he loves a goal against Sheffield United. His brute force would be useful against a team like this.

That’s our best possible team line up. Like that he’s dropped Redmond, that Adams’ plodding performances have been replaced by Tella and Minamino’s potential zip, that Forster has retained his place and that joy of joy Diallo and KWP are back. Need to get it done.

That’s as good a team as we can put out and, aside from Rom, probably our strongest XI.

Take Tella out for one of Walcott, Redmond, Djenepo or Adams and I’d agree with you.

Bench looks stronger as well.

Yeah, that bench is the right balance of youth and experience.

Let's just get this one over the line PLEASE. Could really do without being thoroughly pissed off all weekend again.

On current form, Tella is a better option than either of Redmond, Djenepo or Adams. If Walcott was fit and in the firm he was before injury, it would be a toss-up between them.

Apparently the last time Saints lost 6 away games in a row was 2005. 😬 Time to stop the rot after 5 away defeats here in 2021.

Based on what? Tella, yes promising, but hasn’t really done anything in any games he’s played in. I hope he can offer something in behind today.

Sky Sports haven’t opted to get a presenter or pundit for this it seems?

Looks like commentators will cover anything.

No UHD either

Been a while since we had some lucky nuns and muffins on a match thread.

Nice muffins.

I reckon we’ve got, "why play a simple forward pass when you could play a needlessly complicated, hospital ball across your own half," written in Latin over the entrance to Staplewood.
