Chapel End Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Hope the 3 are back but if they are let's hope for no further injuries to anyone especially the returning ones

VectisSaint Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Tella starting. Deserves that from what I've seen. 1
The Cat Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Seems like a sensible and balanced line up taking into account players coming back from injury and the form of some others.
Lighthouse Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 That’s as good a team as we can put out and, aside from Rom, probably our strongest XI.

davefizzy14 Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 (edited) Happy with the lineup Ralph has picked great news to have KWP, Diallo and Minamino back great to see Tella start too. Stronger bench too. COYR Edited 6 March, 2021 by davefizzy14 2
nta786 Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 I hope these players aren’t being rushed back in but Ralph and the team knows best- so if they can play 90 minutes then I am all for it Come on Saints please give us a nice comprehensive win
LuckyNumber7 Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Minamino up front makes me happy. Strongest looking match day squad for a long time. 2
Chapel End Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Should be no forum complaints about that line up 2
goodymatt Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 I guess we are managing Djenepo with his injury history. I think he’s a stronger option than Tella. We miss Walcott for sure. Che Adams is in poor form but he loves a goal against Sheffield United. His brute force would be useful against a team like this.
Suhari Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Strong team - very happy with that. Just hope the returning players have not been rushed back too quickly.

DT Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 That’s our best possible team line up. Like that he’s dropped Redmond, that Adams’ plodding performances have been replaced by Tella and Minamino’s potential zip, that Forster has retained his place and that joy of joy Diallo and KWP are back. Need to get it done. 1

Pamplemousse Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Anything other than three points is unacceptable. So glad Tella is playing and not Redmond. Redmond could learn from watching Tella. 3

On current form, Tella is a better option than either of Redmond, Djenepo or Adams. If Walcott was fit and in the firm he was before injury, it would be a toss-up between them.
Viking Saint Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Very happy with that. Best we can do atm. Hope Minamino shows up today, but Redmond finally being dropped is a relief.
Daft Kerplunk Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 As good a line up as we could have. Fingers crossed we get the 3 points
SoberSaint Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Decent line-up. Tella deserves his place - very positive! 1
Turkish Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Decent team, better bench against the bottom of the league team with loads of players out. No excuses today
M271 Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 No excuses today, strong team line up against a weakened bottom of the table club.
aintforever Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Liking that team, a real right back and holding midfielder plus no Redmond. 1
obelisk Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Apparently the last time Saints lost 6 away games in a row was 2005. 😬 Time to stop the rot after 5 away defeats here in 2021.
Toadhall Saint Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 If we play our game the way we can then we win. Let’s not get dragged into playing how SU want us to play.

I hope he can offer something in behind today.
SNSUN Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Premature EjaculaNun? w00t! UTS - we CAN win this and that is probably our strongest team sans injuries. STOP THE ROT AND WIN!!! FFS 1
nta786 Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Sky Sports haven’t opted to get a presenter or pundit for this it seems? Looks like commentators will cover anything.

StrangelyBrown Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Now that's what I call a strong starting lineup! I've got a much better feeling about this. COYS!!! 1
JustinSFC Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Not a chance that lineup loses against that racket today. 1

itchen Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 Suddenly feeling optimistic. Things will look a lot better if we finally get a win today.
Lighthouse Posted 6 March, 2021 Posted 6 March, 2021 I reckon we’ve got, "why play a simple forward pass when you could play a needlessly complicated, hospital ball across your own half," written in Latin over the entrance to Staplewood. 1
