BotleySaint Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 I think it's actually got to the point where we probably deserve something.

Far que Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Ralf out ,caught out as a one trick pony, never gunna cut in the premier league 1
OttawaSaint Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 That’s the kind of sucker punch we concede all the time. Fucking typical, Vest slipped as he swung at it.
trousers Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Just now, BotleySaint said: I think it's actually got to the point where we probably deserve something. Yep, we've been poor but if we'd nicked a point it wouldn't have been an unfair result given how poor Everton have been too
obelisk Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 It's not as though Saints' blunt attack hasn't been obvious for far too long.
Saint_clark Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Should be a red card for Calvert Lewin. Var wont even look at it. 2
Sheaf Saint Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 You just know we're not gonna score when Vestergaard can't put that chance away.
stknowle Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Another injury to round off another fantastic evening
Lone ranger Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Anyone know any South based out of work managers to give Ralf a hand?
nta786 Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Ooh that was in the air hanging left leg looked painful
OttawaSaint Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Djenepo better have a broken leg here. Criminal to be rolling around at this stage.
HarvSFC Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Other players telling Djenepo to get up, didn’t know that actually happened.
Whitey Grandad Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 How have Everton gone through this game without a yellow card? 1 1
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Calvin Lewin comes down heavily on Djenepo’s ankle and nothing given. Dirty cynical bunch of cnuts are Everton. 1

DT Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Djenepo just about the least protected player in the league by refs 1

Ed Rooney Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Think they should just all give their wages to Armstrong 2
HKsaint Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 We had a very good run during the period of Redmond’s injury. I think this sums up the situation. 3
The Cat Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 We actually played ok second half. The whole "overrun in midfield" theory was blown out of the water because Armstrong and Ward Prowse have been more than competitive. Probably deserved a point by the end. Vestergaard unlucky that he slipped when shooting.
obelisk Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 The sad thing is that Everton weren't that much really. Saints moving into real relegation trouble now. Need 3 points in Sheffield.
Whitey Grandad Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Too little, too late. Not enough intensity or belief. In any other season losing 1-0 at Everton would not bea terrible result.
Pamplemousse Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 For what it's worth, I thought we did OK. Everton defended well. We play like that against Sheffield United and we beat them comfortably. 3

Disco Stu Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Picked the wrong team again. Everton were there for the taking today but yet again, we haven't shown up.
Jimmy_D Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 We've played worse than that and won against better teams than that in the past.
gammon cheeks Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Armstrong absolute superb ! Apart from him ....nothing ! 5

If you think Prowse was “competitive “ you’re deluded. We got exactly what we deserved, fuck all. 2
Baird of the land Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Armstrong the only real player who seems to want to move with the ball. Feels sorry for Ings working his socks off but getting zero service. Despite everton coasting and us busting a gut we really felt powder puff. Another injury too.
davefizzy14 Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 (edited) Just so frustrating atm. Why didn't we be a bit more positive earlier in the game rather than last 5/10 mins. Armstrong our best player tonight without doubt. Moussa good too. I feel sorry for Ings too, next to no service. Edited 1 March, 2021 by davefizzy14
S-Clarke Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Everton were there for the taking tonight, that's the frustrating thing. They were really poor and we couldn't do anything of note at all. 1 shot on target in the 87th min just isn't good enough, no matter how you dress it up. Thought we looked better once we dropped the Jan at right back horror show, but it felt a little too late then. Really not sure where we go. We've got Adams who is just dross at the moment, and let's be truth has never been much cop. Redmond is just Redmond, don't need to say anything more about that abomination of a premier league footballer. Moussa was a bright spark, as was Ings in the final third. Luck would probably have it that Moussa is injured now. Onto the next one I guess. Fail to win that one and I've had it tbh.

All that happened is Everton pissed away the opportunity to beat us more easily.
BotleySaint Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 There were definitely some positives from the performance today. We could easily have nicked the point. How Everton made it through with no yellows is defies belief. The next 6 league games Sheff Utd Man City Brighton Burnley West Brom Palace Surely we can get 3-5 points from that lot?
Uncle Albert Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 Fuck off Nathan Redmond, some of his pratting around is costing us good chances. 5

We were certainly better once Djenepo moved to RB and we got Tella on. There were good chances to get a point - Djenepo and Vestergaard. But now Djenepo looks injured again, so back to square one. Lallana's Left Peg Posted 1 March, 2021 Posted 1 March, 2021 When the opposition doesn't even have to turn up to beat you then there are big warning signs that something is wrong. Team is devoid of confidence and lacking the quality to achieve anything to act as a catalyst to generate some. Just a complete lack of cohesion in the team which is entirely down to Ralph. I don't want him to go, far from it, but he deserves to be properly questioned about what is going wrong and why.
