Not feeling optimistic. Especially given the game is at St Mary's where we struggle far too often.

I'm guessing we'll get a couple of wins somewhere eventually but I fear that the downward spiral will not be halted today.

Feeling about as optimistic as the rest of you lot on here.

Hopefully 3/5 at the back will allow JWP to get forward a bit more? He's been very quiet the last few games.

A team without KWP and Armstrong has no energy and no creativity. They aren't necessarily the best players of the season, but they do make us tick, and we are ponderous without them. The folly of such a small squad this season (with games coming thick and fast and limited recovery facilities) is really coming home to haunt us at the moment. Think I'll find something else to do this afternoon, rather than watch this potential shit show 🙄

You can hear from Hythe if the wind is in the right direction. I know because I heard two great roars that day we lost 3-2 to Chelsea. Both times I checked my phone for confirmation we had scored.

Shall we start up a post match therapy thread now? Would love to know how everyone copes after a defeat. How the family react etc.

Just set yourself up to expect the defeat and anything else is a bonus.

Assuming the reference is to when we played Wolves and then Wolves again in the space of 4 days.

So Armstrong can't recover in 6 days! Surely the only excuse for that would be some sort of injury.

When we get a throw in why do we wait for the oppo to get back and cover and then everyone just stands still after being marked?

Disappointingly, Chelsea are able to pass it around/through us without breaking a sweat.  Bar for a poor shot or a mis-placed final ball, we have not found ourselves in trouble yet...

It is not as if we are parking 10 men behind the ball either. Just really in-offensive!

Can't constantly blame injuries.  We have two starters unavailable - most teams will have that, or worse.

weird.

we are getting run ragged. We are wide open everywhere. We look likely to concede with every attack. Thankfully we haven't. Got to adjust quickly.
