Saints haven't turned up 2nd half

We rarely do.
barring the moment of inspiration for the goal we have been utter shite.
those lauding the first half display need to give there heads a wobble.
the usual ponderous boring shite on display.
It was only down to a poor half by wolves that we were in front.
no plan b oncemore....the usual pissing about at the back to suck them in is old hat now.

we telegraph everything we do.
once the opposition click onto it we are boring and toothless.
hassenhutle needs to take a long hard look at himself.

It was Vestys fault, never should get beaten that easy. But he’s a forum hero, so can’t be his fault

Even beaten there he should t core from that angle. Just standing up a goalkeeper would have saved it

I’m trying to be objective here but how is this allowed to happen time and time again?

Ref decides penalty, VAR won’t overrule. Then we don’t get a decision that looks more clear cut and VAR won’t overturn. It’s just cheating because it’s up to one guy watching a screen. He decides the outcome.

Then we have the Ings and Adams offsides where it’s clear they decided they didn’t want Saints to have a goal and made it so with blurry ball and ridiculous lines drawn.

I got up early today to watch this and some tossers are deciding the outcome and not letting the players decide the outcome. Robbed. Ruining the game.

A penalty stuck right into the side netting and a shot smashed at goal from a few yards away. Your expectations are unreasonable.

No. How many penalties has he ever saved, or even got near?

Near post again. He should narrow the angle by getting closer. Like any proper goalkeeper does.

No, it was Redmond's fault, why didn't he drop onto the goal line to clear the shot?

You’ve even got people convincing themselves it was near post. They’re so obsessed with scapegoating McCarthy they’re seeing things that didn’t happen. The centre halves have been poor second half, but as one of them is not Stephens, they’re absolved of any blame.

Fucking around at the back once again costs us the game. Utter turd 💩 tactics. What is so hard about once in a while hoofing it away? I’m sick of the idiotic attempts to pass out of defence and so piss away leads.

House!

It wasn’t near post.

Make a save? His penalty saving record is atrocious and the flap at Neto’s effort was embarrassing. He’s not very good. Forster has 4 clean sheets plus was in goal during our last win in the league. McCarthy is a sieve right now.

Forster has barely had to make a save in his cup run

Forster kept 4 clean sheets without having to so anything remotely difficult.

Most keepers penalty saving record is atrocious.

There was nothing embarrassing about conceding a goal from Neto's shot. Do you actually know anything about goalkeeping because none of your post suggest you do.

Utterly predictable. Forget blaming the  penalty decision, we’ve been fannying about since the last minutes of the second half.

Just because we started the 2nd half poorly doesn't mean the woeful officiating didn't make a significant difference. It did.

Have to ask if there was an offside in the build up. The guy who heads it seemed to come back from an offside position. No replay on my stream. Anyone else get one that went that far back?

Is Ralph losing the plot! Armstrong off ffs.

Starting to lose faith in him. There is just no plan B. Same script every time.

Yes, McCarthy makes himself small at the near post and leaves a lot of space to aim at. Forster stands tall there and leaves no space. There was a similar goal McCarthy conceded recently where he crouched right down at the near post so the striker could shoot into the space above him to score.

I think the injustice of their penalty vs our non-penalty took the wind out of the sails of our players though. They've had so many demoralising refereeing decisions go against them recently.

We could get relegated next season and people will be worried about Real Madrid poaching the best available manager

I thought the same, but Bednarek was too deep and played him on. Stephens fault probably.

I don't know, I haven't kept up with the stats on penalties.

He was in the right position. There were at least 3 players who made mistakes before Neto shot but everyone is rinsing the keeper for not saving a shot smashed at goal from close range. It's ridiculous.

This losing leads statistic is becoming unforgivable. It's at least a 2 year problem now that Ralph doesn't know how to address.

Isn't it 51 points in 2 seasons now?

This as much as RH deserves all our goodwill & by no means am I saying he deserves to go but his record on defending leads is atrocious & his second half tactics when teams switch it up also non existent

Not able to watch but seems like we are mentally fragile again. Let our heads drop too easily. Need to fight when things go wrong.

Very true if things go wrong we lose focus

We need to show a bit more fight - as soon as decisions go against us we wilt pathetically.

Looking at decisions over the last few games you could argue there is an agenda from the referees, but let's accept it and use it to our advantage.

It’s not just the big decisions going against us.  It’s been this way for a few weeks. The game is being ruined, never felt so pissed off with football. Can deal with being out played and losing but there are a few games lately that have been decided against us by refereeing decisions.
