Great goal. Armstrong has been one of our best players lately and that was a great assist topped with a great volley. Mesmerising. Something to protect now.

Kudos to the Minamino header in the attack a bit earlier that Redmond had saved. We look fluid in attack. Need to keep it tight defensively.

I know he doesn't get sent off much but Romeu on a booking is a worry when Traore is on the pitch. (Although it's Moutinho he's fouled twice...)

Confidence wise, this is looking more like 2020 Saints than 2021 Saints

We are. Snapping away in midfield and putting pressure on the opposition forcing them to make mistakes. Great touch there from Redmond and then a complete cock up of a shot. Sums him up.

Saints are winning, but still the forum bellends are frothing at the mouth.

Can't be long before we get the "wish we would stop fannying around with the ball at the back" brigade piping up... ;)

Ah, you're one of them. "Get it forward", "put it in the mixer".

Not at all, but when the opposition goal is to be found in front of you, it's an idea to move towards it if you want to score. Had plenty of team mates in front of him, but opted for his usual instead.

Good 45, can't ask for much more than that to be honest. Good control in the middle, good defensive shape and defensive distribution (welcome back to Vesterball).

Minamino has been very quiet I have to say, struggled to get into the game so far.

Redmond has worked hard and has pulled into some great spaces, his runs and off the ball play have been excellent. It's just a shame what happens whenever he gets the ball and has to do something with it!

Alright Ally Mcoist, let's not start wanking over players for existing in physical space that the opposition try to push past.

Fuck me, let's not give credit where its due eh. Football isn't all beat a man. Too many 'fans' haven't got a clue.

Hopefully we can keep a clean sheet as ings goal is worthy of winning any game! Hope we dont think one nil is enough in the second half and we really put the pedal to the metal instead of tippy tapping in defence

Clueless. Absolutely clueless.

Good half that, although a bit worried that we tend to flag in second halfs whilst Wolves usually get stronger as the game goes on. JWP and Romeu utterly magnificant and also it's been great to see Armstrong back in form. He did dip around the time he got COVID. No idea whether that is coincidence or had an impact, but he is definitely back now. Redmond is well...Redmond. He does 1 thing in 5 right. Some will focus on that 1, and others will focus on the 4. I posted this in the Newcastle game but gonna share it again. Here are some stats as of last week.

Redmond- 11,515 EPL minutes for us- 19 goals, 12 assists

Armstrong-4,627 EPL minutes for us-11 goals, 7 assists

Shane Long- 9,339 EPL minutes for us - 27 goals, 20 assists

Tadic- 9, 617 EPL minutes- 21 goals, 30 assists

Djenepo - 1, 735' EPL minutes-3 goals, 2 assists

Che Adams - 2, 827' - EPL minutes - 8 goals, 7 assists.

Boufal - 3, 072'  EPL minutes - 3 goals 2 assists

No player has been given as many chances over the last five years as Redmond which such a mediocre return. His game hasn't developed. He still plays like an enthusiastic nipper on his debut.

Great first half. Restricted them to nothing and looked reasonably threatening going forward.

Having our first choice back 4 playing together is huge, it's been ages since we've had them all.

All our players doing well despite the weirdos hating on Redmond.
