After the international break, it doesn't take Mike Dean long to get back in his stride. Brighton should have been awarded a penalty in their match against Man U but the great Mike Dean just ignores that. The bloke's a joke.

100% should have been a penalty. Would have had a tap in if he hadn't had his heels clipped by Maguire. Absurd that his decision was not overturned.

Who was on VAR? Was it Mason again?

We all know what the outcome would have been if it was at the other end - penalty and a red card.

Mason was allowed to ref his 1st game in 6 weeks since the Brighton free-kick fiasco. Barrow/Newport in Div 4.

Hopefully we never see him again in the Prem, although he gets the "honour" of holding up the subs board at Sheffield Utd this Sunday.

We,ve got Simon Hooper at WBA. He's only done the Shrewsbury Cup game for us this season.

Can we trust Mason to hold the subs board up correctly though. It will probably be upside down.

No one will understand why the number 9 was subbed when clearly the number 6 was meant to come off.

VAR will review it and, still unsure, Mason will then phone Mike Dean for a final decision, who irrespective of any evidence will award Man Utd a goal.......even though they are playing Tottenham 166 miles away. Simple.

So he's back at it, ndidi already booked blatantly tripping think it was bowen on halfway line and let him get away with it, would've missed semi final, thank god he's retiring at end of season

He would have been suspended for their next league game. Its only a 3 match ban that incudes both league and cup games.
