CanadaSaint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 The problem with Redmond is that his head goes down when it’s not working for him, and then it’s a downward spiral - the bad gets worse. It’s all between his ears because he does have the talent.
nta786 Posted 11 February, 2021 Author Posted 11 February, 2021 I’d like to get Tella/N’lundulu/Adams on- just anyone with raw pace to be honest

nta786 Posted 11 February, 2021 Author Posted 11 February, 2021 Forster good save there! Salisu missed it
trousers Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Just now, igsey said: Salisu cleaned up nicely though. He's getting better as the nerves wear off. Yeah, defo got something about him. If he became first choice, who would be his natural CB partner? Vestergaard?
nta786 Posted 11 February, 2021 Author Posted 11 February, 2021 and now Forster again very good off his line! 1
DT Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Forster has been good. Keep for the league. Salisu a bit shaky at times. Maybe bring on Vestergard? 1
obelisk Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Saints need to make one of these breaks count.
igsey Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Ignore everything I said about Salisu Good first (?) save from Forster, he did well.
Sheaf Saint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Any chance of some fresh legs Ralph? Wolves are coming back into this now and we could do with getting some momentum back our way. 1

egg Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Salisu struggling now. Probably knackered to be fair. Get Vest on, and Adams on up front. 1
DT Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Just saying Adam’s would be good to come on and defend from the front but should have surely taken Redmond off 1
igsey Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Ings looks very tired, I guess it's a sensible sub. We have 5 subs to use though Ralph!
CanadaSaint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 1 minute ago, Mr X said: Where would you say his talent is? Cos it's not passing, tackling, striking or going forward The problem is that it’s so long ago we can’t remember it, but he used to skin defenders and he could score. But in reality it’s only 12-18 months ago. He hasn’t benefited from Ralph’s arrival like most others.
East Kent Saint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Saints 17 shots 7 on target , Wolves 4 & 1 !

VictiAbNonem Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 I've been impressed with Fraser. He hasn't had a great deal to do until just lately, but he's looked pleasingly confident all game coming out to the edge of his area - and beyond! He's even boldly headed it twice, one of them a diving header, when I was half expecting him to panic and dither. I think he's made himself tough to leave out in the next league game 1
trousers Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 What the hell was Romeu thinking there? Plenty of players covering the attack
Sheaf Saint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Very clumsy from Romeu there. Never gonna win that ball there.

stknowle Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 G T. F I. Superb from Tells snd Armstrong.
egg Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Superb from Tella. Pressing, pace, strength, composure. Nice.
nta786 Posted 11 February, 2021 Author Posted 11 February, 2021 I think Macca waited a minute two or long to cal MOTM! I’d have given it to Armstrong, deserved an assist or two, drove forward and got in the right positions and now got a goal to top it all off. 2
Jimmy_D Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 That'll do! Missed an open goal, and then got the slide rule out for that one 1
Sheaf Saint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Lovely stuff. Armstrong has had a good game tonight, and what a perfect finish.
davefizzy14 Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Armstrong great play from Tella and a lovely finish.
Mr X Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Tella made that one but good finish from Armstrong
nta786 Posted 11 February, 2021 Author Posted 11 February, 2021 (edited) PENALTY! Edit: Correctly given as just a free kick Edited 11 February, 2021 by nta786
DT Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Brilliant from Tella. And superb finish from Armstrong. Excellent. And a pen!
