Sheaf Saint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Fucking FINALLY! A VAR decision has gone in our favour.
Ted Bates Statue Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Website was initially claiming 'VAR check - goal not given' 🤢
nta786 Posted 11 February, 2021 Author Posted 11 February, 2021 (edited) Wow big let off against Utd or Newcastle that would have been punished Edited 11 February, 2021 by nta786
Toussaint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Silvas scream registered on the seismometer
sydney_saint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 I know Bertrand has been getting some stick recently for 'slowing down' but that's a couple of assists in the last couple of game. He is playing cute little balls in behind.

obelisk Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Salisu needs to ignore those lessons where he's told to fanny around with the ball. 2 1

stknowle Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Whilst that was silly I generally like the look of Salisu 1
Saint Fan CaM Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Stop fannying around you fooking idiots...just put it in row zz! Jeez, we're going to be the architects of our own demise despite going ahead. Think we'll need another 3 goals to put this to bed!

nta786 Posted 11 February, 2021 Author Posted 11 February, 2021 (edited) Salisu did well there- good centre half to have in a foot race it seems based on this hour EDIT: Adama Traore came up on my picture- perhaps time to put theory up to test lol Edited 11 February, 2021 by nta786
CanadaSaint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 KWP and Salisu vs Traore. Should be interesting. 1
Sheaf Saint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Oh crap. Traore coming on. We never seem to be able to defend well against him.

sydney_saint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 We've given our transfers some stick, but imagine spending 35m for Silva whose only talent seems to be rolling around and screaming. He should have done much better there and slid in the forward player. He's also looked pretty dreadful every other time I have seen him. Sure, he is 18, but if you spend 35m on an 18 year old you will want him to become a 50m+ player to make up for all the time spent developing him. He looks miles away from that. 2

nta786 Posted 11 February, 2021 Author Posted 11 February, 2021 2 moments there where Che Adams would have held it up better than Redmond ever could 1
Sheaf Saint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Ings was too selfish there. Had better options around him.
igsey Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 I feel like we're pressing better and more effectively than we have done for ages.
jawillwill Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 I do wish we would stop fannying around at the back. 1
egg Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Traore looks like he's oiled himself up bodybuilder style. Odd. He'll be a good test for Salisu who's looked good so far.
nta786 Posted 11 February, 2021 Author Posted 11 February, 2021 Wow Redmond needs to score but amazing play by Armstrong!
DT Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Pass it to Ings and it’s game over. Redmond a bit wasteful there. Again.
CanadaSaint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Salisu’s body language suggests that he’d love to take it forward, but Ralph has told him to keep it simple and defensive.
Edmonton Saint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Did anyone expect Redmond to score? 2

I'll need to watch the replay again but I thought Ings had broken clear of his marker and there was a path for Redmond to play the ball through. Maybe not as clear cut as I thought though

Sheaf Saint Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 I really don't get it with Redmond. You watch him and it's obvious he's not lacking in skill and he's got a decent turn of pace. But he's just sooooo easy to defend against. You never see defenders at full stretch trying to stop him, do you.
DT Posted 11 February, 2021 Posted 11 February, 2021 Slow the game down. Make subs. Win fouls. We never seem very good at this bit. Ralph’s game management always seems a bit ‘leave them to it’. Always feels like the other team are still in it. Especially at 1-0 and with us missing chances. Bertrand’s game has really gone too. Slow and misplacing passes. Come on Saints. See it out
