Salisu looks good

He looks decent, a couple of good headers and a good interception earlier on, nice and calm on that ball too.

Very early impressions of Salisu-

Looks like he’ll never need to sprint as he seems to have good positioning, anticipation and can cover ground quickly at a jog

Does the basics that our style requires pretty well (control, head up, moving the ball on). Know this should be expected of a Premier League player but plenty of other CBs have brought on anxiety!

He's gone from the Ghanaian Vegard Forren to the Ghanaian Ian Pearce. Let's hope he can progress to the Ghanaian Chris Lucketti and eventually the Ghanaian Claus Lundekvam.

He looks very calm and assured

Wolves seem to be trying to replicate England with 5 at the back and an extremely defensive midfield, expecting their forward three to conjure something up. Every time we have a shot there's about 6 players there to block it.

60% possession and plenty of missed chances. We all know what's next right?😳🥺

Win on possession and chances, lose on goals.

Salisu caught napping a tad there

Looked like Bednarek should have got that.

Got the ball anyway, no penalty, good tackle.

Sometimes the commentators have a story they want to narrate and will shoehorn it in. Clearly they want 'Salisu is rusty'. I think he has looked good today apart from that one error. But suddenly he gets a barracking "He's got to stop doing that' and 'He has to sharpen up'.

Sky and BT really need to introduce a ‘Scouse Off’ option.

Why is everyone saying that tackle was a "Salisu error", it wasn't a foul or a pen, it was a strong challenge. Think he's looked decent in the few moments he's had, sweeping up nicely.

Bloody hell Redmond. Runs into problems. Loses the ball. Standard. Why is he playing again? Anyone know?

I don’t, nothing better I suppose

We are so dull to watch. You can see why we haven't scored many from open play in the last two or so months.

We've just got no threat or urgency through the middle. Makes us extremely easy to play against, especially as our wide players don't really frighten anyone into doubling up.

How many errors will we see from Redmond. He only creates opportunities for the opposition FFS! And Djenepo is not much better.

Midfield are useless at providing any sort of service to Ings.

We're missing Adams, Ings thrives alongside a proper striker and Redmond's spending too much time wide or deep and not making the same moves or passes Adams makes.

Apart from that, I've been impressed with Salisu and Armstrong, Djenepo and Bertrand are playing very well.
