Absolutely nothing. They are a closed shop, referees. I am pleased for Ralph and Bednarek that the red card has been overturned but it still annoys me that they scored from that 'penalty' and went on to score 2 more goals which I don't think they would have done had Bednarek still been on the pitch. In my mind we lost 6-0. Shame Martial (aka Tom Daley) can't get reprimanded for it.

I recall Robbie Fowler getting a penalty V Arsenal, maybe 25 years ago.  David Seaman came out and fouled him, but Fowler got up and said no penalty, he didnt touch me.  The ref didnt listen and awarded it.  Fowler made it pretty easy to save, which was the right thing to do in the name of sportsmanship.

Martial should have insisted to that wanker Fernandes to miss it, but the little prick couldnt do that.

Im sure people will frown, but id not shed a tear if the cunt breaks his leg in th enext game.  Not a career ending one, im not vicious or anything, just a 6 monther.

I know most people are saying they never want Mike Dean to ref or VAR us ever again. But when we finally get past this god awful pandemic who would you rather have as ref for the first game back at St Marys with a full house? Immense entertainment and terrace banter.

At 6-0 they could easily have afforded to be magnanimous and would have earned the respect of football fans everywhere. Instead Martial will always be tarnished as a cheat.

I am really glad that Bednarek had his red card rescinded.

Not that I have any sympathy for the individual or the club but David Luiz's red should have been rescinded too.

Agreed. Even after AJ was sent off, there was some pretty dubious behaviour from Utd. Harry Maguire was going over looking for free kicks. All the while in the knowledge the guy running the middle was a complete coward with no regard for the game. For all Utd's pedigree I have far more respect for City, they seem to have a better understanding of the unwritten rules. I'll be happy with them winning the title this season, while the others cry with heir massive GD.

And Martial is a cheat.  If the red card is rescinded then so should the penalty and goal.  Martial should be fined heavily for diving.  I thought this business of diving stopped but clearly Manure are still at it and obviously to the glee of their manager.  Perhaps Saints should have also asked VAR to look at the disallowed goals to clarify the referees decisions.
