The man is a corrupt prick. Football is becoming absolutely pointless. VAR is not fit for purpose and should be scrapped immediately.

Really feel for Ralph - he is being embarrassed here by the incompetent Gao.

I genuinely wish Mike Dean a very slow and painful death. 

Football is fucked, well and truly gone. VAR the last straw. Such a shame for a game many of us once loved. 

Ralph could well walk at the state of this. 

Probably just manage to stay up this season thanks to the dreadful bottom 3, but there's no enjoyment in this.

Not being funny but once again, we had some big decions go against us. I hate Mike Dean with a passion! I hope Jan's red gets recinded, was never a red card in the first place. Che's goal was onside ffs. Absolutely fuming with the officials.

The PL have completely fucked this once wonderful sport this season with their ridiculous rules and the way they have implemented VAR.

A blatant handball isn't a penalty because there was the slightest graze of the player's thigh first,

If you try and pull out of a tackle it's a red card but if you go clean through the player it's only a yellow,

You can be offside because of your sleeve.

This is all a fucking suck joke. I'm done with it. PL you can stick your fucking 'brand' up your arse.

I agree. To do it twice is unforgivable. Refs not withstanding, to completely collapse like that with 10 men is inexcusable. We need a psychiatrist or someone to sort this squad out. Completely bottling games in front of a home crowd before Covid, throwing away countless results in injury time and now this. Twice.

Agreed - we got hammered either way and deserved to lose but my god we’ve been let down by Mike Dean and the sorry state of Premier League referees in the last weeks. For the best league in the world the standard of officiating is absolutely appalling.

Thoughts:

Early red card badly let down by jankewitz

Ref and Var was an absolute joke never witnessed such a one sided display of decisions going the other way.

If I was Ralph I would be banging on Gaos door demanding immediate reinforcements we can carry on with this lack of squad depth it's  f**king silly.

At least they won't mention leicester anymore! I really am not that worried about this, we aren't going down so I'm OK with it all.

Well, 10 men/injuries or not , ManU wont have an easier game in the next 50 years, well done boys, that was an absolute fucking disgrace.

It's bad enough with a threadbare squad and being shafted by the officials, but that display was a shambles, a perfect lesson in how not to defend or generally give a fuck about the shirt.

We are now the laughing stock of the PL (again)

Tonight is one for calm heads at the club.  The decision to loan out two defenders that have both featured in the first team over the last week looks even more bizarre.  We play a struggling Newcastle side in four days time, who have just lost at home tonight, and need to not let this dominate thinking.  Draw strength from what happened after Leicester last season.

However the difference is we are now horrendously stretched for saturday’s match.  The French lad looked like a bunny caught in the headlights when he came on and yet may have to play centre back.  Only option is Ramsay centre back and JWP right back, but then you have zero holding midfielders.  What a mess

Why is it, that if our opponents went down to 10 men early on it would probably end 0-0, or they’d even sneak a surprise win. But when it happens to us we get absolutely butt fucked.

VAR was supposed to even things up but it is clear there are two sets of interpretations, one for the rich and another for everyone else.

 

Other than that it is pathetic to lose by this scoreline in consecutive seasons. Truly pathetic. And why are so many of our players getting injured and disappearing off the scene? Very weird.

I was fortunate enough to see the Man City game and I spent quite a bit of it shouting at Mike Dean that he was having a fucking shocker.

It was time well spent.

I do have to question how a manager can allow his team to get beat 9-0 twice. Once was obviously bad but a culmination of a long period of deterioration. Why can’t he park the bus like other managers? 
The officiating was, yet again, an absolute scandal. Some bank accounts need checking at this rate.

Because he gets the team to play the same way for 90 minutes and doesn’t react to what is happening on the pitch?

The massive loss tonight highlights it when we should have gone into damage limitation mode but the points lost from winning positions isn’t a coincidence. 

Plan A is fantastic but needs to be able to manage games and react better during the 90 minutes.

Personally, I want us to stick with him and back him in the transfer market but can see the justification in getting rid.

We will 100% lose at Newcastle on Saturday I'm afraid mate, this squad is fucked mentally and physically.  We'll stay up but will struggle to get to 40 points. Absolute fucking shambles from top down. Appalling mismanagement over a number of years.

Shocking performance and the players deserve all the criticism. There are two refs I dread when playing the big boys and it is Mike dean and Kevin friend. Proven all over again just what a disgrace Mike dean. That goes for all the smaller clubs when I watch them play a bigger team, he royally shafts them. Dean is a disgrace to football.

but the alarming lack of ambition and funding for Ralf from the owner is worrying. Add selling Ings and JWP and it’s hard to see Saints moving forward.
