Been solid since hes come in, gets turned by a good player for a goal and hes not PL quality anymore. Have a day off would ya Totally agree. Three clean sheets before this game (including Liverpool). We concede a goal (it happens in football you know) and people can't wait to start slating individuals. The negativity on here is unbelievable sometimes. Imagine if we were having a shit season!

It was absolutely smashed at point blank range. 99 times out of 100 it misses, but if it's on target, no chance Exactly this. The power he put into that gave Macca no chance to react. It had to be perfectly hit to score from there, and it was. No keeper gonna save that.

He did get turned a bit easily, but in his defence he should not have been put in that position, Diallo was so clearly fouled. Thought actually Madison did ever so well to score that. You know, like every Premier League club, Leicester analyse opposition players' weak points and Maddison would have been made aware of McCarthy's tendency to crouch down at the near post, which is why he was able to fire his shot off so quickly.
Saint_clark Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 Difficult for Walcott there but fuck me, should have still scored...

He's just been part of a defence keeping 3 clean sheets in a row including one against the Champions. He's not as good as Vestergaard but neither is he as bad as people seem to like to make out. A foul's a foul and if the ref didn't make an error the ensuing passage of play wouldn't have happened. I'd have been fuming if I was out there.
austsaint Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 Unlucky to be behind. Very impressed with Diallo and fair play to young Smallbone tonight so far. Ings is a big miss of course.
SNSUN Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 Bench looks weak so this useless bunch of twats in the First XI will have to do. 🤫 1
adrian lord Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 Pathetic Leicester surrounding ref to get Diallio sent off

BotleySaint Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 Diallo needs to chill. Looking like we'll be down to 10 shortly... Leicester players idiots.
Saint_clark Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 Is it just me or is the picture on BT very jittery
trousers Posted 16 January, 2021 Author Posted 16 January, 2021 Do we have a Diallo replacement on the bench? i.e. another 'No.6'?

OttawaSaint Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 Leicester screaming for everything now. If we get a red then hopefully it’s for a stamp on Vardy or Maddison that puts them out for the season.

bpsaint Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 I’d hope/expect to see our lot surrounding the ref in the same situation tbf Diallo won’t last the 90 if he’s not substituted

SaintDan Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 It’s incredible how far we’ve come in 15 months. Both teams were at a relatively similar level in 2016 but with a bit of luck and a decent goalscorer Leicester took the league. Fast forward to October 2019 and the gulf was huge (not in the result but just where we were in the league). Tonight though, with a fair few players out we look organised, strong, cohesive and are arguably the better side. Well done Southampton FC! 1
Nordic Saint Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 The Leicester players and bench are putting so much pressure on the ref. I fear he is going to cave in. Even though we haven't got a good replacment for him, it might be wise to sub Diallo before he gets a red card.
nta786 Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 Gosh we are better off letting covid rip through the squad for a bit with all these injuries
trousers Posted 16 January, 2021 Author Posted 16 January, 2021 Starting to get the vibe that we won't get anything out of this game now. Shame given how decent we were in the first half
OttawaSaint Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 Oh shit, the young lad has had an excellent game. Hope he’s alright.
Jonnyboy Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 I wouldn't play Valery, big part of of the 0-9 result.

Yeah, we've got a team of players that no other PL team would take, that also have top 6 form over the last 12 months.
Saint_clark Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 If we're gonna be fucked by the ref we may we well go all out to end Vardys career tbh. 1
nta786 Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 Bertrand out of next game is that next PL game or is it the FA Cup game on tuesday?
verlaine1979 Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 US commentators just said we're closing in on one goal in 8 hours of play.
BotleySaint Posted 16 January, 2021 Posted 16 January, 2021 Silly from Bertrand. But do sense the ref is starting to come under their influence. We've not created much this half. Think it's slipping away unfortunately.
