I say it every game but I never understand keeping the ball to the extent of passing it all the way back to the keeper for the keeper to then just boot it long and give it away anyway.

Always strikes me as odd too. I guess it’s the safe play

True, but I'd rather a playing with better passing skill and creativity to attempt a long ball rather than a punt/potential fuck up from the keeper.

Just missing that final killer pass at the moment

Shame Walcott couldn’t have made more of it.

I know this is premature (as far as this game is concerned) but we don't look out of place as a top 6/7/8 side, do we? Even with half our first team out.

Playing some very good football and win the ball back with ease. Makes it even more frustrating that Ralph has been hamstrung in terms of investment because of poor transfer/contract decisions in the past.

Walcott’s return has been bigger than the sum of the parts. His presence has transformed us in the sense we don’t  just survive, but still look very dangerous  when Ings is out.

We just need to score before Leicester start coming back into it more and more

Start slagging off Armstrong then! Come on, you know the drill... ;)

We're looking very tidy tonight. Crisp, incisive and accurate passing, but worry we haven't got the finisher we need without Ings. One mistake could settle this game, hopefully not ours.

Think Adams has shown that he can finish if given a decent chance in front of goal.

We've actually been fairly decent so far! Walcots been awful though 😉

I don’t have BT Sport, so the wife has me watching Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

Which is just as well because Saints are a bunch of useless bastards and Adams couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo. 😄

I had cheeseburgers and chips for dinner by the way, but we didn’t have buns so used Warburton’s Thins.
