Prefer Liverpool to lose. The only way we could go top is if they draw and we beat Arsenal by 8 goals. Not happening.

A Spurs win means a win for us by any margin would put us above Liverpool. Of the two teams, they are the one I would most like us to be above.

Spurs win. I'm not sure I can stand another 30 years hearing about a "golden generation of Liverpool stars who dominated European football," etc.

 

We're not in a title fight, let it go. Phil Brown's Hull and Paul Jewell's Wigan were both in a similar position after a similar number of games once.

Not that similar. We're only 2 points behind the top team. Hull's best after 12 games was 6th, 9 points behind, Wigan admittedley managed 2nd after 12,  but still 6pts behind 1st.
