Need to patient and keep playing our game but a goal before half time would settle some nerves, especially with the crowd there.....

Was what I was typing when Che scored!

Goaaaaaaaaaal!

Excellent goal. One of those odd angles where he just needed to steer it goalwards and keeper is never going to react in time. And he did!

Che deserves that for all round contribution. Blades should cleared that but Che anticipated. Danny buzzing about. Stu starting to find his pace and range a bit more. Second before HT would be good

I reckon Djenepo would run rings around this Sheff Utd side. Expect him to get at least 20 mins

Was just thinking this.

Him on at 65 mins will bring something extra to us. Hopefully we're out of sight by then!

Does anyone actually remember Chris Wilder playing for us?

Was just firing up Google for that.

Can't remember it at all.

Saints so much on top that 1-0 is not really a good reflection. Sheffield are bound to get at least one more reasonable chance though so don't make it easy by giving away stupid free kicks that let them lump it into Saints box.

Here with Benali in youth under Merrington

He never did, he was released without making an appearance.

I'd much rather be watching the play but the Sky director thinks looking at Chris Wilder is more interesting.

Anyway, feeling pretty confident now we have the goal.

Playing okay - much better on the ball than we were against Brighton. Armstrong back in some form.

Not sure this is a game for Walcott. Someone a bit cuter on the ball - Redmond/Djenepo - is probably more appropriate for a very defensive, solid opposition. Vestergaard has been our most creative player, FFS.

Sheffield haven't offered owt, but while it's only one they're just a mistake/set piece from stealing a point.

Fans in good voice. No groans. Yet.

Let's get that second and bank the points.

Good half, very dominant but we need that second goal.

Djenepo could be a useful sub today as Sheffield defenders tire. May be sensible to bring Ings off midway through 2nd half and not stretch him too much so soon after the injury.

They will be wanting to stir the Klopp/Wilder pot but can’t wait until full time.

We're certainly bossing it, would be good to get a few more to bring up the goal difference. Maybe we'll see some youngster like Salisu or Nlundu if we're comfortable by the 80th...

Let's get another one or two first

So great to see Che Adams shine. Pretty sure he's going to become a Saints legend.   Our dominance has been almost comical. And yet such is football, the score could easily have been 0-1. A couple of goals early in the half pls!
