saint1977 Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Jake Thomson has just scored for Bournemouth. Just saw that. Amazing what being told to train properly and being motivated can do for players.
Andy_Porter Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 (edited) Rasiak, Cork, Thomson and Dyer have all scored. Even Stelling is having a moan about all our players being loaned off. Edited 24 January, 2009 by Andy_Porter
Colinjb Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 The management at our club don't have a f*cking clue.
Steeleye Saint Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Nah Skates will take a dump on them, 5-1 to the Skates. Remind me not to take any notice of your opinion in the future - how wrong can you be? For the record, Dyer was just beginning to come good before he was injured, can't for the life of understand why he's out on loan. Bring him back early, we need all the help we can get.
sperm_john Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Nah Skates will take a dump on them, 5-1 to the Skates. gonna you use one of my posts to say, nearly told you so lol
saint1977 Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 I know a few Skates that were there today, will delight in asking them how much of an eppy some of their fans threw. The muppet show/lounge should be lively early next week!
Andy_Porter Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Just seen the goal on ITV, was a really well taken goal, missed the celebration though.
StuRomseySaint Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Would it be wrong for me to label this as a highlight of my season so far?? Someone please start a Dyer appreciation thread.
Nexstar Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Would it be wrong for me to label this as a highlight of my season so far?? Someone please start a Dyer appreciation thread. Not sure about highlight, but that picture has made my respect for him sky-rocket! We need him back....NOW!
Loyal Saint Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Would it be wrong for me to label this as a highlight of my season so far?? Someone please start a Dyer appreciation thread. Must be close. All is forgiven Nathan, well done lad, ****ing brilliant

BotleySaint Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Dyer looked awesome on the highlights. Were they playing him up front? Why does he always look lightweight for us yet looked strong and quick for them? We need him! Love the goal. Made my weekend!
Mewsta Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 Rasiak, Dyer and Thompson all scored today And Cork!!!
eurosaint Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 (edited) Rasiak scored for Watford ! Great weekend for Saints strikers, eh ?? Edited 25 January, 2009 by eurosaint I should read the rest of the thread before posting !
OldNick Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 Dyer looked awesome on the highlights. Were they playing him up front? Why does he always look lightweight for us yet looked strong and quick for them? We need him! Love the goal. Made my weekend! He still has the potential to play to a good standard.Perhaps playing at Swansea he does not feel the pressure of some fans weho get on his back.He showed some great quality yesterday
SaintRobbie Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 rasiak, cork, thomson and dyer have all scored. even stelling is having a moan about all our players being loaned off. bring them back!
krissyboy31 Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 He still has the potential to play to a good standard.Perhaps playing at Swansea he does not feel the pressure of some fans weho get on his back.He showed some great quality yesterday He seemed to be playing up the middle, off of Jason Scotland, where his pace can really count. On the wing he tends to go up blind alleys, a bit like when Walcott first played for the first team. Theo was much more affective once moved into the middle because defenders couldn't touch him in and around the area.
aussiesaint20 Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 How long is the loan deal for? Will he playing against the Saints? I love the fact that he walked the walk after running his mouth. Bring him back!
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 Quality, ****ing Quality What a legend.
Andy_Porter Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 And people say the word legend is over used...
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 And people say the word legend is over used... Anyone who has the balls to 'go back to the scene of the crime' and then stick two fingers up (in a way) at the locals is a legend, regardless of what you on your high horse may think
exit2 Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 I agree with comments above and had a phone conversation with a ex work collegue who is a pompey season ticket holder. He said Dyer was absolute class and ran their defense ragged. He cannnot undertsand why he isnt back with us, when I explained about money and £5k a week he laughed saying "so your chairman / manager is quite happy playing ****wits and might be relageted rather than quality players that might save you from the ****e"

Bailey Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 Dyer looked quality from what I saw on the highlights, causing the Pompey defence alot of problems. I couldn't help but notice how motivated and determined Dyer appeared to be. If only he could play with the same passion for us! Maybe Nathan will realise his potential at Swansea, which might not be a bad thing for us as could push his price up somewhat. Having said that, I'd be very open to him returning to Saints at the end of the season, assuming we stay up of course.
This Charming Man Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 That made my weekend. Why on earth he is out on loan is beyond me, we need him back and we need him now. Have always rated him and is a far better option than Ryan Smith - who for the record is one of the worst professional footballers I've ever seen, he is f*cking useles. BRING BACK DYER. P.s. Lowe out.
Gordon Mockles Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 What a legend I was gonna post that but I was out and you beat me to it! Priceless! I now have a new found love for Dyer. P*ssed myself with that celebration. GOOD BOY! Adams will be the next Premiership scalp! (unless Southgate walks!)
rallyboy Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 A royal pardon and freedom of the city, let the boy drive his sheep wherever he wants, in fact give him yer phones and wallets - could turn out to be the highlight of our season.
