Hatch Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 it would be great if he could steal a goal against them
chocco boxo Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 what are the odds at him having a mobile phone lobbed in his direction? hope he does score and does the old Micky Channon routine.
alehouseboys Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 He'll be lucky to get out alive As, apparantly, fartton will once again be meagrely attended by home fans and with 4000 fiesty Welshman making the trip maybe he fancies his chances. The magic of the cup appears to be over down there.
eelpie Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Here we go again. Another opportunity for Southampton supporters to diss one of their own players? No wonder they under-peform when they get on the pitch at St Mary's. Quite honestly the way we treat our footballers makes we think we deserve our fate.
Colinjb Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 It's no mistake he is rated at every club he has played for except the one he spent his academy years with, I hope he knocks the skates out and impresses when he gets back here. To say I was gobsmacked that he was loaned again would be an understatement.
Graffito Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Here we go again. Another opportunity for Southampton supporters to diss one of their own players? No wonder they under-peform when they get on the pitch at St Mary's. Quite honestly the way we treat our footballers makes we think we deserve our fate. I'm sure scoring a goal for Southampton at SMS would be appreciated much more than scoring a goal for Swansea at FP. Why's he out on loan?
SaintRobbie Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 I wish he was in our side not playing for swansea.
Thedelldays Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 I'm sure scoring a goal for Southampton at SMS would be appreciated much more than scoring a goal for Swansea at FP. Why's he out on loan? does it matter....he was slaughtered on here not to long ago...
Andy_Porter Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 does it matter....he was slaughtered on here not to long ago... And rightly so, the bloke's a **** and pretty much useless.
Colinjb Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 And rightly so, the bloke's a **** and pretty much useless. And yet for Burnley, Sheffield United and now Swansea he so isn't!
Andy_Porter Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 And yet for Burnley, Sheffield United and now Swansea he so isn't! I thought he only started one game for Sheffield United? They must not have really rated him, if they thought he was any good he'd still be there.
Window Cleaner Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 I love for someone to kick him into the top row of the stands as well but then I don't suppose I'm supposed to say that sort of thing.
Graffito Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 does it matter....he was slaughtered on here not to long ago... Yes it matters. What's your point?
OldNick Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Pompey cranking it up.I wonder if the local police will be arresting fans for the abuse they give out to ND.
JohnnyFartPants Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 what are the odds at him having a mobile phone lobbed in his direction? hope he does score and does the old Micky Channon routine. You mean buy some racing stables and become a top horse trainer?
St Landrew Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Exhibiting a mature attitude at last. Perhaps he's learned now. If he can match his attitude and playing he'd be a worthwhile addition to the Saints side. Trouble is, he's no leader.
Saint_clark Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 I have to admit, i'd have him back now. But he'd probably be played on the left anyway so it doesn't matter.
Chez Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 he has always showed potential, if a lack of strength to kick the ball further than 25 yards, but in terms of ability and pace he matches Ryan Smith. Smith must be on less dosh I suppose.
PaulSaint Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 And rightly so, the bloke's a **** and pretty much useless. Mods - Please can you arrange it so that the four star word can only be used on threads about Lowe & Wilde?
Marsdinho Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 And yet for Burnley, Sheffield United and now Swansea he so isn't! Have you just come off the set of "Friends"
Colinjb Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Have you just come off the set of "Friends" Like, totally.
sperm_john Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 swansea to win 2-1, but alas, dyer not to score just my thoughts..
beatlesaint Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 He isnt the sharpest tool in the box is he. If he scored then said AFTERWARDS that was for Saints fans then fair enough, but to say before he even gets on the pitch ? Very brave or very stupid ?
Window Cleaner Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 He isnt the sharpest tool in the box is he. If he scored then said AFTERWARDS that was for Saints fans then fair enough, but to say before he even gets on the pitch ? Very brave or very stupid ? Well not really, if he says that now the Pompey fans (not being the brightest of individuals) will focus on that and that alone and not his thievery in one of their venerable nightspots last year. He'd probably settle for just being called Scummer reject and not Pikey Scummer tea leaf.
Window Cleaner Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 swansea to win 2-1, but alas, dyer not to score just my thoughts.. Nah Skates will take a dump on them, 5-1 to the Skates.
Raven on the wing Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Nathan is a much better player than Ryan Smith to me. Unfortunately Smith is cheaper and that is the only criteria at SFC nowadays. Respect to little Nathan for remind us where his loyalties are.
explorer saint Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Good man winding up the skates he's gone up in my estimation
lordswoodsaints Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 scoring against the unwashed blue few will be a good start in his rehabilition.
CB Fry Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Nathan is a much better player than Ryan Smith to me. Unfortunately Smith is cheaper and that is the only criteria at SFC nowadays. Respect to little Nathan for remind us where his loyalties are. Sorry, I don't think this is true. Dyer got his new four year deal well into the Dutch revolution and it's highly unlikely that we would have offered a new contract we couldn't afford to a player who we could have let go for nothing in the summer anyway. Our financial situation is poor but it has not got significantly worse that we can't afford to pay a contract signed only six months ago. We must have signed at least six players since then anyway, and a couple this window. Although finances are dictating the vast majority of the decisions, I think the fact that Dyer isn't at the club at present is not one of those decisions.
paulwantsapint Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Monday morning will be interesting around skate magistrates courts with 11,000 skate f*ns all up for obscene abuse of Nathan Dyer how many will get banning orders?
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 and he has,and he has just won me 120.00 12/1 get in
saint1977 Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 I'd love to be a seagull (not a Brighton fan) flying over Fratton watching the Skates going demented that a current scummer, and one that robbed on their patch, has scored in their tinpot rusting shed. Then once I'd had my fun I'd fly low over the Fratton end and deposit a huge crap on their heads.
dubai_phil Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 lmfao Fair play to the lad. He stuck his neck out, called it and did it.. hohoho. Now the only thing funnier would be if it was the winner but can't get it on the telly here so not that up to speed with what's happening
de-fence Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 You mean buy some racing stables and become a top horse trainer? You have a terrible sense of humour
.comsaint Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 lol - I'll buy young Dyer a pint next time I see him. hohoho - 2-0 now. lolololololol
jeff leopard Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 lol - I'll buy young Dyer a pint next time I see him. he'll help himself skates = :smt005
LatvianTolix Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 and he did it. yey. 2-0 losing to swansea. :-) excellent.
