spyinthesky Posted 17 November, 2020 Share Posted 17 November, 2020 Sorry to hear this. Campbell Forsyth was a big reminder of my early days at The Dell
VectisSaint Posted 17 November, 2020 Share Posted 17 November, 2020 Sad to hear, remember seeing him play a few times, and of course he was famously beaten by Shilts in the 5-1 Leicester defeat (I didn't see that game in the flesh). RIP Campbell.

alehouseboys Posted 17 November, 2020 Share Posted 17 November, 2020 Just before my time, fellow Jock Eric Martin already had the gloves when I started going. RIP Campbell Forsyth

eurosaint Posted 18 November, 2020 Share Posted 18 November, 2020 Big man and a big character, he was working at Dalmahoy some years ago when I played in a society golf match ! He gave me the big build up over the microphone on the first tee and of course, I fluffed it ! Joined us for the after match dinner and was great company, spoke fondly of his time with Saints even although it was blighted by injury and very short lived ! RIP, Campbell
Charlie Wayman Posted 18 November, 2020 Share Posted 18 November, 2020 Fantastic keeper, one of my heroes from that super sixties team. Seems only yesterday, where did all the time go - cue - misty eyed nostalgia.😢 Sadly, there will be no eulogies in the mainstream media as he didn't play for Manure or the Bindippers
