Clearly Rasmus needs to be careful. He’s upset fans at SMS so may get some booing, and possibly a thermos flask thrown at him by a codger in the Itchen near the Directors box.
At Goztpe he could end up on a kebab skewer.

Wonder how long to piss Valenciennes off.

yep......but we have got Ross Stewart......

Ross Stewart will be a good option for us tbf. I don't have any issues selling tella (with 2 years left) and keeping Sulemana and Alcaraz.

Göztepe continue with a great run of form.

2 - 0 away against Boluspor

No losses in 5 leaves them two points off second.

Valenciennes scraped a draw with only their 4th goal of the season in a 1-1 draw against Troyes.

Though they're not conceding a huge amount.

Glad to see Rasmus &Co doing their best there as well now.

What is the Midas touch in reverse called, where things turn to shit?

Please Look at Valenciennes history.

Last year 14th in the French Second

Year before 16th in that league.

Year before that 11th.

It is not "turning to" anything as the bottom half of that league is where they've been recently.

I notice you choose not to comment on Göztepes good streak.

Given a large portion of our club is now employed by Sport Republic and encompass all three clubs, then it could be argued you don't have a complete picture of Southampton FC if you don't.

Thanks for the background info.

Perhaps I should look forward to the good fortunes and transformation as Goztepe are enjoying reaching St Mary’s .

I don’t need to see the results of a no-mark French side to know that Sports republic are terrible owners

A solution for you then.

Feel free not to click on the "Sports Republic" thread when the last contributor says my name then.

They don’t, apart from three Nobel laureates in the SFC boardroom, those they pay to be interested and half a dozen groupies on here.

Definitely. That's the first time I've ever heard her say anything. She seems really emotionally attached to the club.

Göztepe have only dropped two points since 28th August. 16 from the last 18 available.

Valenciennes drew 3-3 with top 4 team (with a great name) Grenoble Foot 38.

Conceded late-on.

Grenoble had only conceded 4 goals in 10 matches before this one and have not lost this season in pre-season or the league.

Lots of positives from that result.

Henrik Kraft:

"I used to say that your emotional life quality drops when you have two clubs."

"Because it’s tough to go through a weekend without losing points. But I love it. There is now an opportunity to scale up and build a culture and a central database of intelligence that could benefit multiple clubs"

"I focus a lot on building these structures. We’re not just about buying a portfolio of clubs and then letting them get on with it. We try to build an integrated model where you get synergies and player pathways right. Once that system is operating, it can become a big advantage for those clubs.”

Kraft went to the University of Oxford. He studied a Masters in Engineering, Economics, and Management. He graduated with a first in the year of 1996.

Alongside his degree in Engineering, Economics, and Management, Kraft has a level 2, 4, and 4 Diploma from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.

As well as his work with Southampton, Kraft is involved with other football clubs across Europe. Kraft is on the board at Göztepe Spor Kulübü in Turkey and Valenciennes Football Club in France.

How many goals did he score when he was there?

Change of Manager at Göztepe.

It's being reported that Bulgarian Stanimir Stoilov is taking over.

This comes after their sequence of 6 Wins and a draw was followed by two losses.

Couldn’t give a flying fuck about any team other than Saints.  Couldn’t give a shiny shit about Sports Republic’s portfolio.

I hope not too many people share your small minded view.

Because if they do I have wasted a heck of a lot of money on 10,000 triple club scarfs that I was planning to sell outside St Mary’s on match days before Christmas

Keep working on them. They could still sell like hot cakes at the end of the season.

He's been kept firmly in his hole since the summer.  Think Dragan may have laid a patio over it...

You just slipped the once and clicked on the thread titled "Sport Republic" by accident.

But that could happen to anyone.

So what is the real backstory to this anyone know ? was he doing too good a job or something ?

Seems very risky sacking someone who had the team playing well and winning a lot of games and are 3rd in the table.

Edit - couldnt find a reason myself but most fans seem happy that the 2 guys left.

I don't think anything but promotion this season is acceptable, and even though Lis is attracting attention due to his 7 clean sheets they've only scored 13 in 12 games, compared to the league leaders' 33 in 12.

Aside from Lis to Goztepe, has there been any other multi-club transfer switches happen that I don’t recall?

(I remember reading about some prospective moves but unsure if they actually happened).

There should have been 2, dont recall either happening. Can't remember the names. One was involved with one of our transfers but went to one of the other 2 clubs.

I'll take a look tomorrow when I'm more sober, if i remember.
