Is it all kicking off?

It is our open call to the RASMUS MANAGEMENT, who ignored the call of the fans regarding the disgrace that has been lived for days. We had to start the season away from our home due to the incompetence of a manager who was brought to Göztepe based on where and on what talents.

It is unacceptable that our club president, Rasmus Ankersen, did not take any action during this process, while the person we invited to resign on all platforms and environments over the past week continues to serve without hesitation.

In the first match of the season, despite all kinds of managerial incompetence, the long-suffering Göztepe supporters, who took the road to Akhisar, will hold those who put themselves in such situations to account. In the face of all this, we expect the dismissal of the incompetent manager named Emre Can to be announced as soon as possible and the reinforcements needed by the team to be made as soon as possible.

Otherwise, the Çorumspor match will not be an easily watched match either for Emre Can or for the RASMUS MANAGEMENT who still keep him in this club.

They've been calling for the resignation of The Chief Financial officer Emre Can, (a different one) and they're mightily disgruntled about the first home game being played at a different venue.

so current state of affairs.

Valenciennes have played 2 lost two, and sit at the bottom of the table (lost 4-1 in game 1 and 3-0 in game 2.)

Göztepe have played one lost one. Losing their first home game 1-0, at a neutral stadium as they don't give special dispensation like the EPL have done with Luton this season. Despite losing in the play-off last season, SR seem to have a PR disaster on their hands with the stadium.

To be fair they are buying shit teams hoping to turn them good and make money on, unfortunately the 3 they bought have just continued the trend of shitness.

All you do is moan.

Yes they’ve made a lot of poor decisions, majority Rasmus Ankersen related. Now he’s out the picture a bit and others have been brought in, I think you’d argue we look a little more like we’re heading in the right direction.

So what does Rasmus do? Run things into the ground, apologise and that get someone else to clean up?

It’s on the job training, a new Danish tv show called Not So Secret Billionaire. A comedian masquerading as a business guru has a two year window to turn a billionaire into a millionaire without being rumbled. So far Rasmus is in line to win a holiday in Turkey and a Renault Clio.

Hard enough to run 1 club well, let alone 3.  Can't Harry-Half-Arse the running of any of the clubs.

Bit of a myth really. They made it to the play-off finals last year.

Facilitate them getting to the Play-off Finals as Chairman.

pick off the blinkers and actually look at their run of games at the back end of last season.

Well if he gets all the shit he should get the kudos as well or do we just blame him for all the bad things ?

He gets shit for off the field stuff. Just curious of what he did at the Turkish club that led them to a a great run of results.

Did he furnish them with a big transfer budget and allowed the club to being in better players? Was it a new manager?

In the First season Since SR took over Göztepe they won 17, drew 10 and Lost 9.

Average of 1.66 points per game.

it was essentially a start from scratch.

This season theyre further strengthening the squad and in the last couple of days have brought in Lasse Nielson from Malmo who is an extremely experienced CB.

Yes there has been a problem with the pitch, we couldnt play our preseason friendly there, but he groundstaff have had to cope with hotter than usual tempertures in that part of the world.

There are ups and downs, but to say its all negative would be to speak from ignorance.

La Première Victoires for Valenciennes.

Game 4: Rodez 0 - 1 Valenciennes. (P4 W1 D1 L2)

Göztepe still haven't managed a win this season. Looks like they had all the momentum but new signing Lasse Nielson had a bit of a mare.

Game 3: Göztepe 1 - 2 Corum FK. (P3 W0 D1 L2)

Good for Valenciennes.

Think Goztepe is a slow burner, a few changes and they will grow into the league, better to be shit early and a powerhouse near the end of the season.

Thanks for the updates Nolan.

Paid to have it torpedoed as it leaves harbour, in solidarity the French and Turkish restaurants on the quay have contributed €500 each for a higher grade of explosive.

It's only when a boat has truly failed, and sunk to the bottom, that it can consider rising back up to the surface as a success.

Or be written off by insurance, as Rasmus' sequel will be telling us soon. 🙂

Yesterday Valenciennes finished 0 - 0 away against St Etienne.

P5 W1 D2 L2

Göztepe are about to kick off in their weekend game away against Altay

Posted (edited)

Altay 0 - 1 Göztepe

Göztepe get their first win of the season. The goalscorer Atinç Nukan scored deep into the game.

Stats record it at 90+7, he then got two yellow cards before the match was over.

P4 W1 D1 L2

If things aren’t improved I reckon he’ll be gone come January.

If things don't improve he should be gone by the end of this month. The results of the first 4 games papered over the obvious cracks.

It all depends on what targets the owners have set for the season, but on current viewing, as Jim Royle might say;

"One of the strongest squads in the division, my arse !"
