Wonder if this will help raid Brentford for David Raya, I know he's injured at the moment but I'm sure we can make do with the 2 clowns and Willy until end of season

It'll be interesting to see what sort of owner we're getting.

Could go either way, considering we're going from essentially a completely neutral owner who didn't put money in or take money out of the club.

Right now I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll at least have a bit more clout in the transfer market and in keeping hold of players.

If "the players" are happy could this imply that we shouldn't expect any significant signings this window as a result of the takeover...? (In other words, better players coming in to replace existing players would result in some unhappy existing players, wouldn't it....? (yes, I know, Trousers over-thinking stuff as per usual! ))

I would say the opposite is true. From a player's point of view there is nothing negative about having an owner willing to invest.

It was a guess before I am accused of being in the know.  I have however, met him before, so my comment on his relationship with Saints was from my personal experience.

I'm going to miss Gaos passion and Nellys friendship with Katerina, I hope they stay in touch and come back to attend some games.
