One for the summer maybe, about our price range.

Daily Star though so probably 💩

The article says "the Italians value him at £15M now.."

So, if they really expect that, then out of our price range. But if that's pie in the sky, and he's available for £5M, sure, as he plays LM, would be a good option to challenge NR.

£15m is not out of our price range. We've signed quite a few players for more than that in recent years.

We must have a good relationship with Sampdoria

Yoshida is extremely popular for Sampdoria, I'd imagine Yoshida speaks highly of Soton too.

The latest accounts from the end of June 2020 show £86m in the bank 😉😇

Most of that is the loan money though

So it can never be spent?

It wasn’t taken out to buy players, it was to ease cash flow during the Covid period

It was taken out in order to have the cash flow to operate as close to normal as possible during the Covid period, that includes buying players.

I presume you sick bastards are keeping this thread alive as some dastardly joke.

Transfers involve buying players with 💰.

Maybe if Ralph could offer piano lessons to interested parties that might help get a deal across the line for a half blind one legged fullback.

I expect we will have some Ings money to spend...
