PES Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 Common get behind the lads FFS! Wondering if Harry will play one up front? My prediction, 2-0 Chelsea, but you never know?
Weston Super Saint Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 Are you one of the bestest away fans in the world posting from your mobile?
PES Posted 17 August, 2008 Author Posted 17 August, 2008 Are you one of the bestest away fans in the world posting from your mobile? Away games? Squeezed in with a load of ****ed up retards and the very real possibility of being sat near Westwood and his gang of goons, whilst paying £35-£49 for a ghastly end view? Gosh no, Not for me. Usually attend about 2 away games a year, Max.
jawillwill Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 but you never know? What a shame. I feel like I'm missing out, and with just 1 post left today, I may never know.
PES Posted 17 August, 2008 Author Posted 17 August, 2008 Is this the pompey forum? No, its the Saints Web Forum, but this is the Chelsea v Pompey thread.
PES Posted 17 August, 2008 Author Posted 17 August, 2008 Kaboul is Playing in Midfield? Surely not. Or will Johnson move to right mid and Kaboul at RB?
PES Posted 17 August, 2008 Author Posted 17 August, 2008 I have a fiver on chelsea, come on you ****s! I bet you did not get much odds on that. If I were you I'd of bet on Pompey, that way if Pompey win the dissappointment for you is offset by a nice little sum of money and if as expected Chelsea win, you wont care about losing a fiver. I BACKED saints to beat Sheffield Utd last season and enjoyed a lovely Nando's with the winnings.
saintkiptanui Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 I have a fiver on chelsea, come on you ****s! you will make a whole £1.50.
PES Posted 17 August, 2008 Author Posted 17 August, 2008 you will make a whole £1.50. Don't spend it all at once Mattio.
Thedelldays Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 oh my god...I want chelsea to win sooooo much
PES Posted 17 August, 2008 Author Posted 17 August, 2008 oh my god...I want chelsea to win sooooo much TBH there's a pretty good chance your wish will be granted.
Mattio Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 you will make a whole £1.50.Yeah I know but it was a free bet and I couldn't be ****ed with horses coz I know nothing about them and I think the MU vs NU will be a close one.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 Away games? Thedelldays Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 TBH there's a pretty good chance your wish will be granted. to be fair..after watching the first 10 mins or so..i think a thrashing will be on here.. 1-0 joe cole..
saint lard Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 Chelski 1 up,in the words of Mr Burns.Eexxxcellent
jawillwill Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 I have a fiver on chelsea, come on you ****s! I don't get it. Why if you have a fiver on Chelsea, do you want Pompey to win?
StuRomseySaint Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 P*mpey going to be bottom of the league. Super Sunday indeed.
PES Posted 17 August, 2008 Author Posted 17 August, 2008 I take it then, from what you say, that the Blue Meanie is not that popular among your following? I cant speak for everyone, but all the fans I know think he is at best a T*T and at worst a C*nt.
PES Posted 17 August, 2008 Author Posted 17 August, 2008 P*mpey going to be bottom of the league. Super Sunday indeed. Man United up next, followed by an Away trip to Goodison. Bottom until September I suggest.
hamster Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 I have £1 to put on correct score in running, I am thinking 5-0 maybe 5-1. Anyone else?
StuRomseySaint Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 Pompey are turd. Enjoy. I will use my last post of the day to say, that as I predicted, based on this performance, it seems as though the wheels are coming off the P*mpey wagon.
saintmorley Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 I will use my last post of the day to say, that as I predicted, based on this performance, it seems as though the wheels are coming off the P*mpey wagon. Id say its more a caravan.... a caravan of pure incest
hamster Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 5-3 is currently 500-1 at paddypower, is that a likely, worthwhile bet?
Mattio Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 I don't get it. Why if you have a fiver on Chelsea, do you want Pompey to win? I just explained it further up the thread. Plus I don't really believe that my bet is going to effect the outcome of a match 100 miles away with 22 men I have an will never meet in a stadium of at least 5,000 other people making the same bet.
Rattlehead Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 The commentators are doing my head in with their constant pant-creaming over Deco.
saint lard Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 The commentators are doing my head in with their constant pant-creaming over Deco. Agreed,a bit over the top but man of the match IMO. And just scored a screamer. All over,4-0. Man Utd next for the Skates then away to Everton, not an easy start to the campaign.

Linvoy's Afro Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 I love the fact Kaboul started in midfield because apparently we're short on players. Apart from the central midfielder who started on the right wing and the £8m right winger who was on the bench.
Denzil Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 Great stuff, bottom of the league. Let's hope you stay there and reclaim your rightful place in the fizzy.
Jillyanne Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 Great stuff, bottom of the league. Let's hope you stay there and reclaim your rightful place in the fizzy. I would rather they stay up and we get promoted tbh.
Weston Super Saint Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 I would rather they stay up and we get promoted tbh. We will be lucky to stay up...
PES Posted 17 August, 2008 Author Posted 17 August, 2008 We will be lucky to stay up... Oh come on! This thread is your chance for some light relief! Good grief!
PES Posted 17 August, 2008 Author Posted 17 August, 2008 Great stuff, bottom of the league. Let's hope you stay there and reclaim your rightful place in the fizzy. Don't hold your breath Denzil, despite a woeful performance against the future Premier League winners, it simply aint gonna happen.

Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 4-0? Thats almost as good as our start to this season.
Saint Martini Posted 17 August, 2008 Posted 17 August, 2008 I love the fact Kaboul started in midfield because apparently we're short on players. Apart from the central midfielder who started on the right wing and the £8m right winger who was on the bench. Now where have I seen line-ups like that before?
OldNick Posted 18 August, 2008 Posted 18 August, 2008 did HR get out of his sick bed for the game.Funny how he was ill when the FA charges were about. He wants his knighthood and doesnt wish to be enbroiled in anything underhand.
Master Bates Posted 18 August, 2008 Posted 18 August, 2008 (edited) It took Saints 2 games to concede 4 league goals, Pompey always have to go one better!!! Edited 18 August, 2008 by Master Bates
