You’ve got to feel sorry for Dalek. All those years in the lower leagues, talking about finishing 17th when we were top of the table and now it’s finally going to happen, he’s not here.

Strange isn’t it how you’ll ban people for making silly comments yet when people make sick posts about people being critically ill along with constant abuse and personal digs on here it gets brushed under the carpet.......

For what it is worth, I read what was posted and it was pretty disgusting.

Thanks mate. The shame is that it was deleted so the individual concerned will get away with it and his true colours remain hidden.

Very pleased with this. Wasn't it West Brom winning on the last day that sent us down some years ago.

That's what the Phew believe, but even if the skates had beaten We're Bottom Again 10-0 we still would've gone down. We (i.e. Saggy) relegated ourselves by losing to Utd.

We’ve been involved in 2 relegation myths, that one, and Denis Laws back heel relegated Utd. Like the skates result, laws goal didn’t make a blind bit of difference.

Remarkable statistic:

Palace remain unbeaten in their last 24 Premier League games when leading at half-time.

Are Leicester good enough to end that run?

Leicester Were shite at Wembley and again tonight in 1st half .. palace look likely winners here at mo

I can't see City winning this, PSG in total control and they're not even out of 2nd gear.

It's a treat to see City being outclassed for a change. Some of PSG's football is breathtaking and it is good to see a team that plays out from the back but know that they need to zip through the gears to move the ball forward at pace. City will do well to keep this at one nil if the second half continues in the same vein.

I’m just enjoying the quality, especially from PSG, the ball movement, the intricate interplay in really tight situations.

It's a proper contest, PSG look excellent, I think we beat City once or twice with Poch so he's just putting into practice what he learnt at St Mary's.

I find myself wanting Poch to do well, I’ve got no feeling either way for City

Personally, I have disliked Poch since the day he arrived at St. Mary's. Detest the way he stabbed Adkins in the back, picking his moment to join. I admit he was a very good manager for us, but then he proved what a Twunk he was by the way he left. Paid £4m of his own money to buy out his contract? Bollocks! I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever that Levy stumped up the cash. I was, therefore, chuffed to nuts that he won the square root of fuck-all at Spurs. Just as I am chuffed to nuts City turned this match around in the 2nd half.

Moreover, I am now expecting a raft of posters coming on here to state what crap managers both Poch and Pep are due to fact that, despite a wealth of talent on both benches, only one sub had been brought on before the 80th minute (and that was the one and only sub Pep made all match). What were they thinking?

I hope not, it was nice just to talk about good football, albeit briefly

Hilarious that Poch, who has never won a trophy as a manager, goes to PSG who are guaranteed to win the league every year and is screwing that up, and now at a disadvantage in the CL semis!

Unfortunately he has won the French Super Cup with PSG. If we consider it a trophy...

I thought the buyout was a load of bollocks aswell.

However, how could you have known the rest of it?

Who honestly saw Poch coming? Who knew Cortese was going to sack Adkins let alone know that "Poch picked his moment".

Re Poch joining - After  he joined there was an interview (can't be arsed to try to find it) where he (Poch) stated that (despite Adkins getting us back to back promotions) Cortese approached him during the summer about taking over as manager. (Cortese didn't think Adkins would be up to the job of managing in the prem.) Poch wasn't keen on taking over a club newly promoted to the prem so said he wanted a few months to watch how we played and to assess the players. He then called Cortese to agree to take over in mid January, after Adkins gad already steadied the ship following a poor start to life back in the prem. (We had only lost 3 of the previous 13 matches before Adkins was sacked - winning 4 and drawing 6, including winning away at Villa and drawing away at Chelsea in the last 2.)

If you don't believe the above that's up to you. But I remember it quite well. Care to give any other reason as to why Cortese would have sacked Adkins and appointed Poch the very next day, given our recent run of results at the time?

Well that's a hell of a lot of animosity to aim at him and you're the first person I've ever come across with that much venom towards Poch.

I personally aimed a lot of my animosity towards Levy, I fucking loathed the cunt over that.

But as for Cortese, not sure why you're aiming at Poch?

Poch was sacked by Espanol.

If you're an out of work manager, do you say no to a prospective employer? Even if that employer does want to put you in a day after the previous bloke got sacked?

The only situation I'll never get over is Van Dijk. That bloke can fuck right off.

Nivea boy too.

Well that last Chelsea goal looked offside to me on VAR

Pffft. As if that matters. The prats in the VAR room can just move a shit ton of lines around until their pal the ref doesn’t look so stupid.

I thought that always. Certainly looked it anyway, didn’t see 5 minutes taken drawing lines everywhere like they’ve done for some of our goals

Fuham not putting up much fight. Chelsea player goes down fulham on the attack and instead of trying to get back into it they stop and kick the ball out

Footballers are so fucking thick. Kicking the ball out after an opponent is rolling around feigning injury really winds up the fans.

We’ve been safe since beating Burnley in reality, but just trying to do the maths.

For Fulham to catch Saints, they need to beat us at St Mary’s and take two wins and draw from their remaining three matches and hope Saints lose all our other four matches too. If we avoid defeat to Fulham, they can’t catch us. If we lose to Fulham, but pick up 3+ points from our other four matches, they can’t catch us.

For WBA to catch us, given their much inferior goal difference they need to get at least four wins and a draw from their last 5 games and rely on Saints losing all 5 remaining matches. If Saints pick up just one or two points from our last 5 matches, WBA need to win all 5 of theirs to catch us. If we pick up 3 or more points from our last 5 matches, they can’t catch us.

Basically, they’re both down and we are totally safe.

BT SPORT:  Lille vs Nice

Fonte vs Schneiderlin

Jeremy Pied on the bench too for Lille

If Lille win all their league games, wonder how PSG fans will see Poch for failing to deliver Ligue 1.

[PSG have won 7 of last 8]

Has anyone at BT thought through flashing ONLINE HATE  for split seconds is giving not the subliminal message they hope ? Strike through font at that speed will have no effect I would have thought.
